Classic Monitor® 13 Series Tub and Shower Complete Rough and Trim 4.8 5 5 5
It's real metal! Unlike some other competitors products, this one does not leave me moening complaints. Very attractive, very solid and exceleent operation. I have purchased multiple homes over the years and as habit now replace my Kohler, Fsiters, etc all with Delta. June 5, 2014
great buy for the cost, this is the best T&S valve on the market. Where some other manufacturer's products require a $50 and up repair kit, Delta's is generally a couple dollar fix (seats and springs). Delta's done it again with this one!!! February 28, 2013
Monitor® 13 Series Tub and Shower I bought this model based on the Delta reputation and the style of the fixtures as well as the fact that the handle matches my Delta sink faucet. It looks great and works great. This kit replaced a Moen that was many years old. September 18, 2012
this is a great shower/tub kit easy to install and manual is step by step for the do it yourself people just bought and installed in mins plus like the fact that they offer lifetime warranty and can save u on the water bill June 10, 2012
This is a great product for the money. We purchased this item to replace a Moen faucet in our guest bath. It was a simple installation and I will be replacing the other Moen faucets in our home with Delta. June 13, 2012

Water temperature and water flow

We Just got this unit installed. However when we want a higher water temperature we have to turn the faucet more to allow more water flowing out. Sometimes this is waste of water. Is there a way that we can have a small flow but high water temperature?

Answer:
Hi Austin, Thank you for your question. I have attached the instructions for how to adjust the rotational limit stop which is how you set the high water temperature of the faucet. The way that the cartridge mixes the water in a single handle valve does not allow for high temperature at low volume.
Thanks,
Dave

Cutting o-rings

Each time I try to insert the cartridge into the housing I cut the o-rings and then the water will not shut off. I have lubed the rings and still no luck. I can not seem to get the cartridge into the housing, I have the side marked "Hot water" to the left..the valve is mounted with the "top" marking in the up position, the two notches aligned, but it is a bear to push in and locate the two sockets in the back, then it leaks, I pull it out and the o-rings are damaged. Any pointers?

Answer:
Hi Randy! It looks like you are attempting to put an old cartridge assembly (RP19804) into a new MultiChoice rough valve. The cartridge you should be using is a RP46074 valve cartridge. Thanks for contacting Delta Faucet!

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Based on the description of your issue, it sounds like your Delta Faucet model # 134900 has shower rise. This is caused by one of the following circumstances: 1) Distance between the valve body and tub spout is between 8 and 18 inches. 2) There must be a straight drop between the valve and the tub spout. 3) Only iron or copper pipe between the valve and tub spout. 4) Only 90 degree elbow to the tub spout nipple is allowed. If any of these situations exist, then you will have shower rise. The issue will need to be fixed before it will go away.
