Water streaming out of shower head when not engaged.
Plumber installed the Windemere unit that was purchased from Lowes. Immediately following the water being applied, water streamed from the shower head. Plumber reviewed installation procedures i.e. valve right side up, distance from valve-to-faucet (10.5 inches (8-to-18 required)), 1 elbow to shower head and 1 elbow to faucet. All was installed correctly. Plumber contacted Delta which reviewed the installation procedures, and once again all appeared to be installed correctly. Plumber then purchased a second Delta valve, same problem. I made the decision to return the Delta Windemere unit ($217.00) and purchased an American Standard system. After installation of the American Standard unit, all worked perfectly.
Delta, you really need to check you quality control or maybe the design of your Tub and Shower system. As it stands, I'm not at all impressed with the functionality of your products. My wife and I are very disappointed and will probably not purchase another Delta product.
