Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Nice design but not worth the money Renovated bathroom and went with this product for design and color. Honestly, the product looked great in the box but after install and use I'm not impressed and wish I could return for something MUCH cheaper. My $39.00 no name silver plastic product from Bed Bath and Beyond actually worked better. DISAPPOINTED because 1) the price is way too much 2) cheapness of the plastic housing unit 3) expected better QUALITY 4) hand unit is hard to remove for housing unit 5) question if this product will last 6) lack of water pressure RECOMMENDATION Paid $239 + tax at Lowes and it is NOT WORTH THE PRICE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND JUST BUY A LESS EXPENSIVE UNIT October 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT SHOWER! This product has been fantastic. We have hard water and even with our softener it still had white build up on it. We tried vinegar and other cleaners but nothing work, after about 1 year the selector on the hand held unit failed. I called and they replaced it within a week! Fantastic support, this level of support deserves 5 stars! October 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great look and feel, but wish it was made of all metal for $300. Good system but I feel that it should have been manufactured with all metal construction for $300. I have had to replace it's cartridge twice in little over a year after experiencing slow flow in off position. I have seen that others have had the same issue. Makes me question if this may be it's Achiele's heel. I also wish that it could reverse it's hot and cold with the cartridge with back to back install of two bathrooms. April 25, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Slow to fill I love Delta, but Tub fills so slow we don't even use it. Tub downspout puts out 2.4 gpm at proper temperuture and 80 psi house pressure. It takes 15+ minutes to fill. No solution by Delta. March 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Handsome looking set. Nice looking set. I like the durable extra long hose on the handshower set that features an on/off button directly on the handset which is great for washing pets or old peoples hair. May 6, 2016

Can a flow restrictor be put in the shower head to reduce water usage?

We were amazed to find that the valve does not allow adjusting of the amount of water coming out. It's either all on or all off. The shower flow is so heavy we need to find a way to reduce it so we don't waste so much water. Please recommend a flow restrictor and where it should be placed since there are two shower heads.

Hi Nancy, Thank you for your question!
We do offer a flow regulator part number RP62734. Which will put out 1.5gpm ( gallons per minute). The part can be placed into the back of the shower head where it threads onto the shower arm.

The Ditections are not super clear. How do I install the spout to the copper pipe coming out of the wall?

I have cut the pipe shorter and I can still cut it more if needed but I can not figure out how to make the spout stay on the copper pipe. I've never installed one before and the instructions are not clear. The ones that came with the assembly only show a picture of the spout... not the components of it or how to attach it. does it have to be soldered on or caulked or am I missing something? I can't find a screw for a hex key or anything either.

Answer:
Hi FirstTimeInstallation,

Thank you for your question! The tub spout should have a brass adapter that you can solder onto 1/2" smooth copper pipe or thread onto 1/2" iron pipe. Below is a link to the installation instructions for this spout.

Answer:
Hi Bob, Thank you for your question. None of our current wall mount tub/shower faucets are capable of a 10 gallon per minute flow rate out of the tub spout. Only our roman tub and free standing tub fillers have that high of a flow rate.

Answer:
Hi Tony, Thank you for your question. If water is leaking out of the tub spout on your model 144710-I when the faucet is off you will want to replace the RP46074 cartridge. Some water leaking out of the tub spout while the shower head is running is normal.

Dave

Water coming out from showerhead when only tub spout is in use. How can this problem be corrected?

We just had this model installed in our tub/shower. When we turn on the water to the tub, even if we are not redirecting it to the showerhead, water is going coming out from the showerhead. We tried a replacement with a new cartridge, and verified that there were no obstructions but that did not resolve the issue.

Answers

Answer:
Hi Marc, Thank you for your question. Most likely, you are experiencing "shower-rise" where the water can’t get out of the spout as fast as it flows through the valve. This causes the water to back up and come out the shower head. There can be one of several reasons for this:

The valve could be upside down. The length from the valve to the tub spout is outside of the 8" to 18" rule
There is more than one 90-degree angle
Something other than copper or galvanized pipe was used going to the spout
The most common reason is that there is something restricting the water flow to the spout, e.g. solder or something lodged in the pipe. Something is impeding the flow of water to the spout and causing it to back up and go out the shower head. If this is the cause of shower-rise it is possible to remove the blockage by removing the tub spout; then, feeding a plumber’s snake or a speedometer cable up through the tub drop. The act of feeding it causes it to twirl and loosen the blockage. Be sure to flush the valve before reinstalling the tub spout. Be sure to check the tub spout itself for blockage.
If none of these help, you may need to call a plumber. After the shower has been installed and the wall has been closed, there is little that can be done to remedy this situation yourself.
Thanks,
Dave

Answer:
Hi Mike, Thank you for your question. The In2ition showerhead that comes in the model 144710-RB-I faucet has a flow rate of 2.5 gallons per minute regardless of whether you are using the fixed, handheld, or both heads together. The flow rate of the showerhead cannot be increased. Check to make sure that the cartridge and showerhead inlet are clean and free of debris and mineral build up.
Thanks,
Dave

Answer:
Hi Lesley, Thank you for your question. The RP29827 renovation cover plate will not fit around the rectangular escutcheon on the Nura model 144710-SS-I faucet. The opening is for a 7" round escutcheon. You could order a RP19809SS round escutcheon separately and replace the one that comes with the faucet trim.

Dave

Hi Louisiana, Thank you for your question. Both the 144710-I, and the 144710 use the same R10000 multichoice rough in. You will be able to switch out all the external parts and use your existing rough in valve.
