Hello, I purchased this faucet new several years ago and within the last couple of months or so it has started leaking just a bit when turned off. I've only got one bathroom, so removing this and sending it in for replacement isn't really ideal. Removing it also requires cutting a hole in the opposite wall. Can this be fixed through the tub side, or does it have to be removed and sent in? Thanks,

We bought a new house with the Victorian Monitor series in every bathroom. All work great except two of the shower mixing valves. This is a new house (not under warranty - purchased as is) and these have never worked properly. When you turn them on, they are lose and sometimes come off. Instead of turning the handle up for on and down for off, the position for on and off changes each time and one of them is almost impossible to turn on and if you get it on you may not be able to turn it off.
What do we need to do to fix this? Is this just installed wrong or is it a broken part?

Thank you for your question. Based on your information, we would recommend changing out your cartridges. Make sure you flush the lines when replacing the cartridges. The cartrdige part number is RP32104 if you have an older valve and RP46463 if you have a newer Multi-choice valve. These cartridges can be purchased at your local wholesaler or retailer.

I bought this from Loews a few yrs back and I need parts to repair it. It was sold to me with a lifetime guarantee. It leaks and I had a plumber look at it. He told me it was best to take it out and replace it. I would have to cut a hole in the wall outside the bathroom so as to replace it. Before doing so I would like a gasket repair kits to see if It will stop leaking. I found the rubber cups with springs but it looks as if I need the gasket that looks like a figure 8 made of rubber. Or can I get a discount for another Delta Faucet to replace it with?
