Hi Dinomogwai,
Thank you for your question. The Leland model 17579-SS-DST comes with a 6" riser. This places the aerator approximately 8" above the deck/countertop. If your vessel bowl is shorter than that, this faucet should work.

Thank you for your question. I am not sure what you mean by the filter but I think you mean the aerator. There should have a been a wrench included in your box to remove the aerator for cleaning. If your wrench is missing, the replacement is model # RP52217 and be ordered and purchased from your local retailer or wholesaler. If you need to replace the aerator, it is model # RP54977.
