Are the components contained within the valve, etc the same when bought from a big box retail outlet versus a plumbing dealer? I don't mind paying more from a dealer if they are of stronger made materials.
Thanks

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet models are the same no matter who you buy them from. If the model number is the same, then the internal parts and the external parts are exactly the same quality.

We recently remodeled our bathroom and used the Celice collection for many of the fixtures, including the faucets for the sink. Our contractor did everything for us. In order to turn on the water for the sink we have to push the handle towards the wall (away from ourselves), instead of pulling the handle away from the wall (toward ourselves). Is this correct? We felt like he installed them backwards but he said that was how the instructions read. Thanks for your help.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model 35705LF-SS should rotate towards you to operate on and off. We recommend removing the handles and looking inside them. They should say C for Cold and H for Hot. Also look underneath the sink and the longer of the two tubes should be on the outside of the faucet. If they are not, then the sides, were switched. You should be able just to switch the handles and make it work so that the handles point towards you when turning on the faucet. Make sure you turn off the water to the faucet before taking off the handles.
