Hi dd, Thank you for your question. The thread size of the RP54977RB cache aerator that comes with the model 3578-RBMPU-DST is 13/16". We do not offer a cache aerator adapter in this size.

Answer:
Hi torchlakegirl, Thank you for your question. Visually the faucets are the same except for the type of aerator on the end of the spout. The model 3578LF-278 uses the Delta RP24096 Stem assembly and RP4993 seats and springs to turn the water on and off in the valves. The 3578-MPU-DST uses our new Diamond Seal Technology which is a diamond coated ceramic valve assembly and pex supply lines that are made to be longer lasting.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi Fred,

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 3578-MPU-DST is not available without a pop-up. Could you let me know what other model you are referring to so that I can compare the two models?

Thanks.

Is it normal to have water drip from lift rod

Sometimes when I have water splash on to the faucet, I can see one or two water drip from lift rod to below the sink.

Answer:
Hi Plex, Thank you for your question. There is no seal around the lift rod. If enough water is splashed onto the faucet potentially some could leak down the lift rod, but water should not leak down it on a normal basis.
Thanks,
Dave

Which faucet to purchase?

Hello,

I would like to know which of your Leland faucets allows for more clearance from the faucet itself into the sink? I would like to purchase the one that protrudes into the sink the furthest.

Thank you...

We like the 3578-MPU-DST but we only have 1.75 inches form the center of the hole to the front of the backsplash. Will this faucet fit in this space.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Typically we require a 2 1/2" minimum distance from the middle of the spout to the backsplash to allow room for hands to get behind the faucet to operate the lift rod. The faucet will still work but it may be difficult to close the drain off without being able to pull up the lift rod completely.
