Is the 30 degree adjustment only up and down? Or is it also adjustable from side to side.

Water Spots

We remodeled our bathroom less than 3 months ago and went with 3 body sprays, a shower head and a rain shower head. So far we have been happy with everything except for how ugly the body sprays now appear. I have attached photos. I am assuming the water is causing the spots on the fixtures and the discoloration around the edges. Is there any solution to this besides wiping the water off them after every shower which is not practical. We love the body sprays and spent a lot of money on them and having them installed and are very disappointed about how they now look.

Answer:
Hi Steve, Thank you for your question. The spots are caused by the hard water. Using a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water to clean with will get the spots off.
Thanks,
Dave

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 50150 flows at 2.0 gpm at 80psi. If you are using all the jets on one port, that is using up 8.0 gpm. Depending on your valve and trim that is used with it, you may not have enough pressure to get the optimum flow rate with your features.

For instance, if you are using a diverter valve, R10000-UNBXHF and the 17T series, you will get 9 gpm at 80 psi out of the valve. This is the highest valve pressure we offer. We would recommend only using 3 jets instead of 4.

.75" copper pipe to the shower head and body sprays or is it adequate to use .75" supply to the valve and then use .5" copper to the shower head and body sprays? The .75" supply to the valve is pex pipe. I'm concerned that the .5" copper from the valve might not allow enough gpm's when choosing to run the shower head and body sprays simultaneously.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. We believe that you have a good plan. Using 3/4" pex lines is almost the same as using 1/2" copper lines. The inside diameter is almost the same in both of those. 1/2" copper is adequate for the valve inlet or outlet.

Diverter for body spray

I have purchased the raincan shower head, the handheld shower, and two body sprays. I would like to be able to run each of these three components independently (and/or all at the same time). I have purchased T17053-CZ for the showerhead, and T11853-CZ for the handheld shower. I also have rough-ins R11000 and R10000-UNBX. Do I need to buy a third diverter for the body sprays? Or does either of these or another diverter turn on more than one component individually or together? And if it is possible to use one diverter to control all three individually, do the components have to be on the same shower wall?

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Based on the peices that you are putting together, if you exchange the T11853-CZ which is a 3-setting 2-port diverter trim for Delta Faucet model # T11953-CZ which is a 6-setting 3-port diverter trim, you can add the body sprays with no problem.

You will then be able to run the body sprays, the raincain, and the handheld shower all separately or two of them at a time.

Can the shower be turned on without turning on the body sprays and vice versa? Or is it all or nothing?

Answer:
Thank you for your question. If you have a diverter rough-in like the R11000 and a trim to go with it, then the shower and the body sprays can be run independently. If you do not have this system, then everything will run together all the time.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 50150-SS is different from the older model in the spray pattern and also the gpm. The new model has a gpm of 2.0 and the old one is 1.8 gpm.
