Delta In2ition® Two-In-One Shower Arm Mounted Shower 2.9 5 12 12
Need more water pressure I came to this website looking for a way to remove the flow restrictor because we end up using MORE water than we did before since we don't feel like we're rinsing good enough because there isn't enough water pressure so we rinse longer. I saw a review by Kelly from Chicago, IL who had the same problem and was hoping you would provide a solution but only said you would send an email. If there is a way to remove the flow restrictor I would appreciate knowing how to do this as we purchased 2 of these when we had both of our bathrooms remodeled and so far are extremely disappointed. More pressure is the only way we will keep them. Thank you. August 16, 2013
frustrating I bought this a few months ago from home depot. It's been sitting in its box until last week when I decide to install it. Easy to install, I had no problem with the water pressure, it works just great. The hose is a bit too stiff but acceptable. The problem is that the hand held shower head keeps falling off the outer shower, making a mess around. I took a closer look and noticed there are 2 black tabs that the are supposed to hold the shower head when you snap it in. One of the is missing, I'm not sure if it fell off (but we've been just using it for days), or it was not there to start with. The way it is the shower is unusable and really annoying. July 17, 2014
Low flow when using both shower heads We purchased this product though our contractor for a remodel in a bathroom that gets daily use. We have been very disapointed with this showerhead considering the price. When both shower heads are turned on the water flow is very low. The water from the outside ring seems OK, but there's not enough flow from the handheld to reach your body unless you are standing directly underneath. With the outside ring turned off, the flow from the handheld is better. Can't use the massage setting with both portions turned on. Have removed the water savers from both heads and turned up the flow from the tub valve, but still not adequate flow. January 6, 2014
NO PRESSURE I thought for sure with the higher gpm this unit would not disappoint, but I was wrong. I bought 2 for a double shower and they have NO pressure. I can barely rinse the soap from shower walls....let alone bodywash or shampoo. I took apart looking for water restrictor, could not find that either. Short of tearing this up after spending close to $100 each, there needs to be a solution to make more pressure....please let me know! Thank you! November 20, 2013
Water pressure too low I purchased two of these because I liked the look and the design of the hand-held shower within the showerhead. Like others, when I finally got to use the shower, the pressure is terrible. Extremely disappointed, as we had no problem with pressure prior to this new shower installation, and everything is new. I called support and was asked to check the water flow -- it's supposed to be 2.5 gal. per min. Mine came to 1.5 gal. per min. Clearly, there's a problem. Delta will send new showerheads, and in the meantime I will try this shower head on my guest bathroom shower to see if there's a difference. Keep you posted. September 3, 2013
Just kinda trickles I was very disappointed at what appears to be a great concept not executed well. The shower head installs quite easily. But the water flow from the head with both units turned on is quite disappointing. The house has good water pressure. I looked online for a way to remove the flow restrictions, and they appear to be permanent. Now regretting my purchase. Delta usually gets it right, but not on this one. October 28, 2013
intuition dual shower low end model This particular model has not shown a positive shut off between the shower and the hand-held attachment for my customer. I am looking at other options now and have re-installed traditional shower head for now. Even after removal and cleaning and whatever it still does not completely divert water from head to hand-held and it bugs my customer. September 10, 2013
No pressure on handheld when in dual mode or handheld only Just installed this shower head. The stationary shower head works ok but the hand held barely gets any water. The water has to be turned up very high to get decent pressure on the main shower head. Going to return it tomorrow. Too bad, it's a great concept and looks good in the shower. July 7, 2014

Switching between main showerhead and handshower.

I can not reach up easily to the shower head, but I would like a combination of showerhead and hand shower. Is there a way that I can switch between the two showers from the handshower unit? Would the In2ition Series be able to do this if I kept the handshower unit down near the floor and not mounted to the main showerhead?

Answer:
Hi Laddie, Thank you for your question. The diverter on the In2ition showerheads is located of the fixed portion of the showerhead. We do not offer a hand shower that diverts the water between two showerheads. An in wall diverter like our model T11800 diverter trim and R11000 diverter rough would allow you to mount the control at a lower height and control both a fixed showerhead and a handheld shower.
Thanks,
Dave

Answer:
Hi Laddie,

Unfortunately no, you wouldn't be able to control the head unit with the hand unit. The controls on the hand unit can only control the hand unit, since most all shower units are analog systems (physically manipulated to divert the water). To do what I think you want would require two water lines run, one to the upper unit to control on/off and one to a lower unit controlling that on/off.

Otherwise, if you are comfortable with the upper head always on and you to be able to control the output of only the hand shower, the In2ition system is excellent!

Are any of the In2ition Two-In-One Shower heads metal rather than plastic?

I've read several reviews about the plastic (albeit nice plastic) components of the In2ition shower head. Is this product offered in metal as well as chrome finished plastic?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 58065 has a dial on the handshower to vary the settings. They are fast massage, full spray w/massage, full body spray, and pause. The only other way to vary the speed of the water is by adjusting the volume on the valve itself.

58065-cz

Selected the above model at a local plumbing display. They installed it. What we said we wanted was that the "inside" handle could be removed and that then all the water would come out of the handheld head with nothing coming out of the mounted ring portion of the shower head still connected to the pipe at the wall. Doesn't seem to work that way. Water will come out of the hand held but also out of the larger ring it snaps out of. Am I missing some button to push? Our intention was that our visiting daughter could give her small children a shower with the hand held and not get wet at the same time. If we bought the wrong one, do you have another model that would accomplish what we want? Thanks.

Answer:
Hi Steve, you may have already gotten an answer to your question, but just in case you didn't. Simply reach up to the right side of the shower head, there's a little lever kind of switch, pull it towards you to use just handheld, back to activate the entire shower head.
