Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 58469-PK is used to replace an existing showerhead. It does not include a valve or a shower arm and flange. You will still need to purchase the valve to turn on and off your showerhead.

I want to use the In2ition shower head/hand shower wand with a Symmons Temptrol Shower and Tub Faucet that regulates the pressure to 2.5 gallons per minute. Somewhere I read that the in2ition shower head and hand shower wand each allow 2.5 gallons per minute for a total of 5.0 gallons per minute. Will a supply limited to 2.5 gallons per minute provide enough pressure for both the shower head and the hand shower wand to work properly? Do you balance the pressure between the shower head and hand shower wand so that the spray comes out with equal force in both pieces? Do both models (see above) have "touch clean?" We have hard water. Is there one model you would recommend over the other for this type of application?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 58469-PK has a brass ball joint and has a back plate that is fully plated. Delta Faucet model 75584D has a non-metallic ball joint and the back is not fully plated. It has a gray covering on the back.
Regarding the water flow, both showerheads flow at 2.5 gpm at 80 psi when using both the stationary and the handheld showerhead. If you are using just the handheld or just the stationary showerhead, you will also get 2.5 gpm at 80 psi.

1-A video on the Delta site seems to indicate that the in2ition showerheads have the touch clean feature, but when I look at the individual products they do not list touch clean. Does the in2ition have touch clean?
2-If I buy items 58469-RB and T17078-RB individually rather than the "package deal" T17294-RB, it seems to be much more expensive. Are the pieces better quality?

Thank you for your questions. The In2ition shower heads do all have touch clean nubbins for easier cleaning. The difference between Delta Faucet model # T17294-RB and T17078-RB with the 58469-RB-PK is that the 58649-RB-PK is the In2ition showerhead and the T17294-RB uses a standard raincan showerhead. There is no difference in quality if you purchase a package or individual pieces.

The link for the hand shower states: "Installation Instructions / Owner's Manual".
However, the document is only installation; there is no real user's manual or guide. So where is the information that describes how the spray settings can be changed or how to have the water come from one or the other or both sources.
Also, I saw reference that the flow rate is 2.5gpm for both parts of the shower. Does that mean when both sections are spraying, the flow rate is 5gpm?

Thank you for your post. Delta Faucet model # 58469-PK instructions have been redone to include instructions for the operation of the handshower dial. We have included that page here. The handshower is 2.5 gpm and the showerhead is also 2.5 gpm. When combined, you should get about 4.5 gpm. We are in the process of changing that flow rate so that it will a 2.5 combined flow rate.

Thank you for your question. The difference between fully plated and not plated is whether or not the back of the stationary showerhead is completely finished on the fully plated models. When it is not plated, it means that the back of the stationary showerhead has a non-metallic covering on it.
