Delta In2ition® Two-In-One Shower Arm Mount Shower 2.8 5 14 14
Just bought my second one because my first one broke My husband and I bought this showerhead on 9/26/2014 and on 11/13/2014 the plastic part at the end of the hand held that appears to be metal broke/cracked. Before that we absolutely loved the showerhead and would have recommended it to everyone. However to have broken before 90 days was very disappointing. Luckily, Lowe's return policy is within 90 days so we returned it and bought another one. So on 11.14.14 my husband installed the new showerhead and we will see how long it last. If it doesn't last at leas 3-5 years it is simply not worth it and serves true to be poor quality. Please fix this Delta. I love the design but it is horrible quality. November 15, 2014
Cheap, brittle plastic I'm on my second one of these, and it'll be the last. The first had been returned to the store and re-shelved with one of the plastic screw-on collars for the handheld head broken clean off. I took it back and picked up a brand-new model, brought it home and installed it (could not have been easier, by the way) and used it one time. A few days later I went to use it again, and discovered that the plastic collar connecting the hose to the (also plastic) valve had broken in half, exactly like the first one, except this time spraying water all over my bathroom walls. What this tells me is that this isn't a faulty product, it's poor design and material choices, and this should be avoided at all costs. For now, I've reattached the builder-grade showerhead that came with the house. At least it's made of metal and has never leaked. May 13, 2014
Good Product Features / Average Performance Purchased this product about a month ago. I like the features and the way it works. Biggest negative is it seems to have medium to low pressure. The shower massage I used before (Water Pik) on the same outlet had more pressure than this one. September 4, 2013
Plastic parts broke on installation Barely tightened the flange onto my shower pipe and it snapped. Will call them tomorrow (Monday) to see if they will send a new one. Can't testify to the overall performance, but most of this product is plastic and you can't tell that until you fight your way through the tough packaging. November 17, 2013
Horrible showerhead I own this shower head now received as a replacement to my previous discontinued shower head, the shower head is nothing like my old shower head at is all plastic whereas my previous shower head had some metal parts and more spray settings February 10, 2014
Great Shower, Excellent consumer service! Wow, you guys are the best. I bought this a year ago at Lowe's and had issues with the hose popping off of the shower head. Within 2 days of my complaint, Delta was sending me a replacement. No questions asked! Thank you for backing up your warranty in such a no hassle fashion. BTW the new unit works very well with excellent water pressure and great versatility. Thanks again. January 24, 2014
The Cheap hose ruins everything While the sprayer seems adequate, I cannot believe that something as simple as a poor connecting hose can ruin the entire experience. But it does. Significantly. As noted by other reviewers, the connecting hose is incredibly stiff ( and does not soften with warm water). Not only does it interfere by sticking out at you into the shower normally, but when you try to hold it in your hand, you have to fight just to maneuver into a usable position, and that often swings part of the hose through the shower curtain out of the shower! This is an everyday experience/aggravation, and it seems to indicate a major flaw in the product's design. In retrospect, a close look at the store displays offers a hint: The display uses a shortened piece of the hose, and can be seen forcefully kinked into position. I originally assumed it was a temporary issue that would pass in time. I was wrong. I couldn't be more disappointed. Buyer beware. July 14, 2014
Unique Features I'm very pleased with this product. It is very easy to adjust just how much water pressure you want. It gets the soap off. I really like it. i would recommend it to anyone who needs a shower head that gives you allot for the money. October 6, 2013

Answer:
Hi Larry, We are sorry that you are experiencing an issue with your showerhead. Flow restrictors are usually found in the neck or threaded end of the shower head exposed when the shower head is removed from the shower arm.
While it is possible to remove flow restrictors from shower heads, we strongly advise against it for several reasons. Flow restrictors for faucets are an integral part of most showerheads and it is generally not possible or desirable to remove them. Removing the flow restrictor will void the product warranty.

Our H2Okinetic showering devices are specifically designed to operate most efficiently at the flow rate controlled by the flow restrictor. Removing the flow restrictor from an H2Okinetic showering device will result in improper operation and a very uncomfortable experience.

For water conservation purposes, most plumbing codes require faucets and showering devices to not exceed a certain maximum flow rate. Removing the flow restrictors could cause these devices to no longer meet these codes.

If you are noticing decreased water pressure or a poor quality flow rate, you may have debris in your flow restrictor or the screen filter in your shower head. Often this is easily remedied with a simple cleaning process.

Thanks,
Dave

Answer:
Hi Rob,

The difference between models 75481 and 75481D is the rated GPM. The "D" version of the faucet is intended to comply with water conservation initiatives instituted in several areas of the country.

The 58045 is a trade version of the same handshower, indicating that it would be fully plated as opposed to having some gray plastic areas.
