Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet mocel # 75588 has a dial on the back of the stationary showerhead that will allow the user to switch the flow from just the stationary showerhead to the handheld showerhead or both. The dial on the front of the handheld showerhead will switch the flow on just the handheld showerhead.

My question is similar to Margarets. I'd like to know why the 75588 can't be positiond straight down like a rain shower?
Will the hand held piece not stay in place? The male fitting coming out of my wall is 12" long and is horizontal. I love the concept of the In2ition but it doesn't sound like it would work based on your response to Margarets question.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 75588 is not recommended to be mounted as a raincan because there is more of a chance that the handheld will not get seated back into the stationary showerhead. Therefore, it could fall out and cause injury or damage.

Answer:

Thank you for your question. All of the Delta Faucet In2ition will swivel up and down or right and left the same amount. They will not point straight left or right or point straight up or down. Regarding the difference between the models, there is a difference in the shape of the showerheads and how many spray patterns are available. It is purely consumer preference.
