Delta In2ition® Two-In-One Shower Arm Mount Shower
The Handshower internals snapped during installation.
I purchased this items with great hope and expectation - seeing it was everything I wanted and judging by the reviews, it seems like the right one for me. I thought a few of the reviews that questioned the durability were just one-offs. Well, maybe I was wrong.
I installed it as instructed. First of all, the Showerhead that screws onto the end of the pipe is easy enough to screw on with hand-tightening, but in order to have the Showerhead oriented properly aligned, you can't do it with your hand. You'll either over-tighten it, or you'll loosen it because the Showerhead's ball socket is so tight that you can't adjust it while hand-tightening it to the pipe. The instructions say to use a wrench to tighten if needed. Well, that's great - but the head that attaches to the pipe has a rounded edge. There is no flat grip for a wrench!!! So, I had to get some pliers and sure enough, it scuffed up the head. That was my first indication of the problems to come.
Well, mostly everything else went fine and I was still happy to have to get this working and I noticed the hose was super stiff. I figure it would soften within time I guess, but I don't know why the hose isn't just a metal hose that doesn't have such stiffness. I have a $30 waterpik showerhead that has a metal hose. Okay, so I was content with it as long as it worked.
As instructed, I hand tightened one end of the hose to the Showerhead. There is no real grip but I managed to do it. Fine. Next was hand tightening the other end of the hose to the Handshower.
Well, sure I hand tightened it - but I guess my brute strength was so much that it snapped something internal in the Handshower. I heard a pop, and didn't know what it was except that it didn't sound good. It didn't take long for now the whole internal assembly to now pull out of the Handshower. Whatever snapped no longer secured this piece in and now it's unusable. (See picture.) If you push it back into the Handshower, it would stay put only until you turned on the water which will then send the Handshower flying off leaving the internals attached to the hose.
Seriously, how does this even happen? I used no tools other than the wrench for the Showerhead. How in the world does my hand-tightening break a brand new unit?
So, now I have to try to drive the 36 miles to the Lowes that I bought this from to try to exchange it - but I'm not even sure I want this model anymore. It has everything I seem to want, but I am afraid of the same thing happening. The hose is also too stiff and I still don't understand how the instructions say to use a wrench on the Showerhead when there is no grip for a wrench.
But obviously, the most ridiculous thing is how it snapped so easily. I'm very disappointed in this. I really wanted it and seeked it out only to be so disappointed in the quality of the materials used that allowed this to happen.

Works really well
Only had this for about a month now, but it works well. This was my first time installing a shower head, but it was really simple. We don't have really high water pressure and we have soft water - this shower head gives us the ability to divert water to the shower head, the wand, or both... there is a nice spread of water with both going, but the nice thing is when you really need that focused blast, you can switch it to just the wand and use one various stream patterns to wash away soap. There is a notable difference between using both the head and wand and diverting to one or the other - the pressure is VERY different, but it's still way better than our old shower head. I love how well the wand is held by the main unit. I wish the hose was didn't get in the way some times, but I don't feel like that can be helped. I think it's mostly because I have a small shower. All in all, I've been very pleased with this product and I would buy it again - in fact, I will likely buy the same one for the guest bathroom...

Updated Experience - Hose Replacement
Back in January 2014, Delta supplied me with a free replacement Model #75588. My initial experience was poor due to a new design plastic hose that was extremely stiff. I replaced the plastic hose with a Delta metal stretchable hose and since that time I could not be happier with this showerhead. I want to be clear that the poor design rating is limited solely to the original plastic hose supplied with this showerhead. The metal replacement hose makes this a really great package and I would highly recommend it.

Lots of features
Delta did a good thing with this model. With the detachable head that provides a great length of hose. There is a no-flow option, options to use both heads or either one. Soft shower, pulse jet, hard stream. all good.

Great shower upgrade - Spa quality
Sleek design and simple instructions made the product easy to install. The multiple settings allow you to control the pressure of the spray which keeps everybody happy. You also can pull the massager hose away from the shower head and rinse off leisurely. I would strongly recommend this product. I will probably buy a second one for my main bathroom. I am completely satisfied.

The plastic swivel ball was so tight I could not adjust the angle of the head. I was told to return it and check the replacement before buying. I check all the stock and they were the same. Sounds like a manufacturing glitch.

Perfect design & fit
This shower head performs perfectly as a traditional but better shower head with many features The design is smart because the shower head with an extension simply pulls out when you need it and easily snaps back in. It isn't a space hog. It is much more stable than the two piece version. It doesn't wobble, especially if you have a shower caddy. I love mine.

The inventor or the creator of this product did an excellent job!
I love the multiple setting, it gives me the satisfaction, especially the massage setting. The detachable shower head is very helpful, when I am done using it, I used it to rinse/clean the soap/residue of the entire bathroom. Before, I used the small bucket to rinse the soap. I am very glad/happy I bought this product.
