Delta 8-Setting ActivTouch Hand Shower 2 5 2 2
Great until the buttons stuck I installed this shower head in July and have loved it since then--until this past week, when two of the three buttons that control the shower spray got stuck and are no longer usable. I guess I should have gotten the model with the dial control, which was a little more expensive, but I liked the idea of this one being more durable if it hit the tile (the plastic is a little softer). Fortunately, I can still take a shower, but it's really disappointing that the unit is no longer fully functional. I knew it might not last forever, but I thought it would at least last for several years. Until the buttons stopped working, I'd have given it five stars across the board. April 21, 2014
Looks great in the package 100% plastic - won't last. Already cracked the hose apron hand tightening it to the shower head. Pretty much just cheap junk. February 18, 2013

Is there a way to increase water pressure

I am not getting enough water pressure, old shower head delivered plenty. Is there a way to remove the water saver reducer so I can get a better flow? Otherwise I like the shower head.

Answer:
Hi Track 33, Thank you for your question. Flow restrictors are usually found in the neck or threaded end of the shower head exposed when the shower head is removed from the shower arm.
While it is possible to remove flow restrictors from shower heads, we strongly advise against it for several reasons.
Our H2Okinetic showering devices are specifically designed to operate most efficiently at the flow rate controlled by the flow restrictor. Removing the flow restrictor from an H2Okinetic showering device will result in improper operation and a very uncomfortable experience.

For water conservation purposes, most plumbing codes require faucets and showering devices to not exceed a certain maximum flow rate. Removing the flow restrictors could cause these devices to no longer meet these codes.

If you are noticing decreased water pressure or a poor quality flow rate, you may have debris in your flow restrictor or the screen filter in your shower head or aerator. Often this is easily remedied with a simple cleaning process.
Thanks,
Dave

How does this shower head differ from #54424-WC20-PK?

I see there is a different hose, but I can't tell what else is different. Wondering if the 54424-WC20-PK is a higher quality shower head than the 75821WC?

Answer:
Thank you for your question. There are a couple of differences between Delta Faucet model # 54424-WC20-PK and 75821WC.

The 54424-WC20-PK has a 60"-82" stretchable metal hose, and the connection to shower arm is metallic.

Delta Faucet model # 75821WC has 72" chrome ribbon hose and the connection to the shower arm is non-metallic.
