Since towel ring is not reversible is there a right and left option?

We ordered two rings one for the left and right sides of the sinks. Since they are not reversible the right side has the bar opening facing the back. It would look so much better if they apace the same direction; especially in my high-end bathroom.

Ring looks crooked

Is this ring supposed to be slightly tilted in appearance? I have attached a picture, but my ring base has been mounted and leveled but the ring arm appears to be bent or crooked and I wanted to know if this was normal.
