Leland Pivoting Arm Toilet Tissue Holder
Beware: Installation instructions are WRONG!
Note: the picture in the description is not correct on Delta's website in comparison to the Leland part I received. Did I get and old or new design not reflected on the website?
We bought the Delta Leland Pivoting Arm Toilet Tissue Holder online. All of the other Leland items for our bathroom are in, working, and looking fine. The holder itself is fine although it *seems* to be missing a piece on the trunnion. The pivoting end seems to be intact and correct but the trunnion seems to be missing a piece that locks into the pivoting end. There is just a stub at the end with a piece of thick plastic over the end. (See picture)
The instructions say the spacing is 5-3/4". *** WRONG!!! ***
It's 6-1/4". Now I'm going to have holes to cover up in the vanity because someone somewhere didn't put the proper dimensions anywhere: online or in the printed instructions that came with it!
I just need to know if the stub with the plastic piece is correct or if I'm missing something?
I gave quality, performance, and design average marks since they are all average for Delta.

Delta must have fixed their size issue if there was one. The Leland Trim is excellent, heavy and durable, the design to install couldn't be more effective and simple to use. We use a name brand T-paper that claims to be over sized, it works great, both width and depth are are dead-on as they could be. The Leland look has to be one of the top 3 designs of Delta and we are thrilled we went that route. By the way, I installed these myself, no problems at all, easy instructions, all the hardware plus some comes with product and the instructions are clear and concise, even comes with templates to plot your install correctly. A+ Delta

Sometimes its What You Know That Makes The Difference
First off, its just a TP holder so I doubt its the focal point of your bathroom area. The install on these are easy but you do need to think ahead when doing the install. First establish where you will be most comfortable when reaching for the TP then install only one of the roller holders. Next, get a new roll of your favorite paper and fit the second holder to match the width of the paper you use. Mark the spot, level the holders and install. Now the dispenser fits your type paper and the spring loaded roller secures the roll so when you pull on it it doesn't go flying. Its spring loaded for a reason...

Very Poor Design
The design is such that it will not allow a standard roll of toliet paper to freely rotate on the cross bar. The bulbus design at the bottom of the spindles narrows the width which causes the problem. They must not check a product functionality before releasing it for sale.

functionality of the tissue holder and flush lever are poor
while I like the style of the Leland tissue holder, I agree with the review from November, 2012. I recently remodeled my bathroom and selected all Delta Leland accessories as well as faucets for the sink, tub, and stool. The appearance is excellent. However, the tissue holder does not accommodate any of the popular toilet tissue brands. Only a single roll of the least expensive tissue paper on the market is useable. The Delta Leland stool lever was too small for the Universial Rundle toilet tank and had to be fitted with two different washers by my contractor to keep it was squeaking loudly with each flush. The shower head also had to be "adjusted" to allow enough water to pass through so a woman can rinse the shampoo from her hair. Bottom line, the Leland style looks nice but the lack of functionality is a daily irritant.

I really am very happy with this product and will order another one when we renovate our other bathroom.
This holder is real easy to load, just lift and side on the roll. We have had the spring loaded ones in the past and this is a great improvement.
It is solidly built and should last us a life time. Thanks for a great product.

This piece matches other items for the bathroom but the toilet paper bar that holds the roll is not long enough for a full roll of paper making it difficult to use without the roll hitting the mounts. Some designer was not thinking about the large size of today's rolls of TP.

I love that this is the old fashioned spring loaded roller, not those hooks so often seen now. It matches the Delta faucets I ordered for my remodel and is very attractive on the wall. Very quick shipment, received the day after the order.
