After installing the faucet, removing the aerator to purge the lines, and replacing the aerator, I experienced a terrible backflow of water rushing down the pipes. It did not happen when I removed the aerator. I requested a replacement aerator, which arrived promptly, only to find they sent me the wrong one. Again, I contacted Delta, and I received the correct aerator, but it too, had the same backflow problems, so I finally gave up and returned it to the store where I'd purchased it and bought a different brand of faucet.
I'd also bought 2 other Delta faucets for my master bedroom (different models), but have yet to install them. I fear I may have the same negative experience with them.

I bought two of this Delta faucets to replace the existing Kohler. A lot of people reviewed that this is of inferior material which I found not be the case. The price is affordable, sleek design, easy to install (short time to put them on, no leak at all on first testing). Water flow very smooth and quiet, if you want more powerful flow, you might want to remove the restrictor from the aerator, but I did not, as I think water flow is adequate for bathroom sink use. All and all, I will be Delta customer for a long time. My house is 15 years old now, the Kohler faucets are due for replacement and they are expensive!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MrEd A better replacement for the previous faucet.
Relatively straight forward installation. If this unit lasts as long as the previous Delta product I will be well satisfied. The only "wish" I have is the inclusion in the packaging some sort of wrench to tighten those pesky, plastic, odd shaped anchor nuts that hold the faucet to the lavatory surface. Hand tightening is inadequate. The limited access and surrounding space limit the use of pliers or conventional household tools at my disposal. This has been the same issue with the other three faucets I installed as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MikeB This product is satisfactory with at least one design problem.
The design problem that I found rather quickly is with the "Lift Rod." The connection to the stopper is plastic and easily separates from the Lift Rod unless care is used in pulling up on the rod. Now that we are aware - after it happened to us on a very early use - we use that care. The rod must be raised slowly and carefully so as not to pull it away from the horizontal control.
The major complaint is that we found no such instruction in the users guide/manual.

I live in an area with very hard water, even with a water softener the valves build up deposits on them. After two years the handles were stiff, I removed them and soaked in CLR. I will probably have to replace them soon.

Rated 1 out of 5 by RonT Problems with aereator
I installed two of these in a residence at the same time. I had major problems with the aerators in both fixtures after taking them off to flush out the faucet and then attempting to put them back on. Managed to get one back on without the backflow through the fixture. The other never screwed on properly after numerous attempts including taking the faucet apart and the backflow continued. As a result I felt the responsibility to replace the faucet at my own expense. After taking apart the faucet I was surprised at the cheap materials and poor design. I have installed Delta for over 30 years and never saw anything this cheap. NEVER REMOVE AERATOR.
