by PawPawWhiskers Plastic parts?
Most of the parts are metal. Looked great. One day the plumber installed faucet..same day called about a leak around sink drain flange. Pipe attached to sink flange is PLASTIC..when tightened enough to try to stop leak around sink flange, plastic threads do not hold. Also the clevis strap that attaches to pop-up drain plug is PLASTIC...again because of PLASTIC the lock nut would not tighten enough to lift rod.
Plumber had to come next day and put in replacement parts that were METAL to do the job. Of course the drain plug and sink flange do not match the faucet. Why use plastic on functional parts?????

Rated 5 out of 5 by SundogJax Delta is simply the best...
Years ago I got started with Delta. Before that, I shopped for the lowest price, and that's what I got, along with low quality. I live on the beach (corrosion), and we have hard water on top of that (deposits). Delta products stand up to these hazards, and when they do need repair (EVERYTHING needs repair), the customer service from Delta is superb. Quick, correct and usually FREE. How can you beat that?
Delta is simply the best. Perhaps a bit more expensive at the outset, but NO DOUBT the most effective (installation, function and repair), and the most efficient cost to own over time.

This Delta faucet replaced a 10 year old 2 handle model.
Easy to install and has a perfect spout length to clean your hands without water going all over the sink.

Just like another reviewer poster here, I just experienced the exact same problem with the plastic pop up drain assembly leaking. The actual faucet installed easy enough, but the plastic tailpiece was leaking underneath the sink. Upon further examination, the flange is a piece of plastic with a chrome cover. When you try to screw the tailpiece into the flange the plastic in the flange will spin besides the chrome. The plastic threads then will strip out if you try to tighten it up. Can't use plumbers putty on the flange since that don't mix with plastic.
I will spend another night without my bathroom sink so I can tear this out and take it back to Home Depot. Very disappointed in Delta's quality. Also noticed it is made in China. Should have left my 40 yr old Delta alone, that was solid except the finish was getting tough.

We needed to replace a leaking lavatory faucet that had come with the then new house 16 years ago. We wanted simple, cost-effective, attractive and long-lasting. This unit hit a home run based on that criteria.
I can't comment on ease of installation except to say that the plumbers had it done in 15-20 minutes.
I would buy this unit again.
