Thank you for your question. The number of holes on Delta Faucet part #RP49760SS will not hinder or enhance the pressure of this 2.5 gpm unit. The standard flowrate for showerheads in the USA is 2.5 gpm. The shower arm and flange will be contingent on the overall Delta Faucet series that is being installed.
