unusual installation I purchased this mixer valve and installed it in my basement for an outside faucet. It's used to provide warm water for washing my car on cold days. February 23, 2012

How do I adjust the temperature range with a T13022 model?

I have watched the videos that Delta has made, but none of the models shown look like mine once I take it apart. It has a brass part that looks like a RLS adjustor (ie. there are teeth inside it, like it could be adjusted right or left), but the stop piece is plastic and seems to be attached to the rest of the fixture in the wall so I cannot turn it. The brass piece cannot be adjusted because the plastic piece won't move. Maybe this is an old model or something, I am not sure as we just moved into our house and we're not sure when the bathroom was updated last.

Answer:
Hi Megan, Thank you for your question. Your pictured cartridge is missing the portion of the rotational limit stop that allows you to set the temperature. You will need to order RP19807.

Once this piece is in place the cartridge will adjust as shown in the videos.
Thanks,
Dave
