How do I remove the plastic knob in order to replace the cartridge inside the handle?

Answer: 
Hi Glenn, Thank you for your question. You need to pry the button off of the end of the handle to access the screw that will remove the handle. I have attached a picture to show you the handle assembly below.

Which other Delta models are interchangeable with the classic monitor 13?

I don't want to change out the valve but are there trim/handle kits that would work with the valve assembly?

Answer: 
Hi Ian,
Thank you for your question. If your screw holes on the escutcheon/trim are at 1 and 7 o-clock you will be able to switch the trim out. Any trim that starts with T13 or T14 will work on your valve/ rough in. If the valve was purchased after February 2006 you will be able to use the cartridge that comes with the new trim, if not you will have to use the existing cartridge.
