Is there a way to adjust the pressure of the water that comes out of the shower head on T14494 H2O?

The shower head that this replaced was much more forceful.

Answer:
Hi Simon, Thank you for your question. There is not a way to increase the pressure in the showerhead that comes with the T14494-H2O shower trim. The science behind H2Okinetic® Technology creates a shower experience like no other. Each shower head and hand held shower contains an internal system that controls the speed, movement and droplet size of the water, which creates the feeling of more water than a standard shower flowing at the same rate. This showerhead has a lower flowrate than your previous showerhead.
Thanks,
Dave

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T14494-CZH2O can have a handheld shower added to it by adding a diverter rough-in and trim. We recommend Delta Faucet model # R11000 and T11894-CZ trim.

We have two handheld showers that we recommend. Model 55021-CZ is a wallmount and model 57021-CZ is a slide bar mount. Both of these will need a wall elbow which is model # 50560-CZ.

Is the spout water flow angled out or 90 degrees?

Just bought this trim but learned the tub we're getting (Kohler Bellwether) recommends at least a 7" spout to clear the rim and wall--unless the flow is angled. (This spout is 6 1/2", and in researching several Delta models the longest I've found is 6 3/4".) We'll use the shower head a lot more than the spout--but the flow needs to be diverted first. Are we okay? Thanks.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T14494-SSH2O does have a tub spout that is 6 1/2" long. If it is recommended to be at least 7" long, then this tub spout will not work. We do manufacture longer tub spouts. For instance, model # RP72565 is 7 2/3" long, model # RP38450 is 7 5/8", and model # RP34357 is 7 1/2".

Can I replace these without a plumber?

My current Tub/Shower Delta product is Gold. I want to switch to Chrome. The products in my local HD and Lowes show the screw hole locations on the round shower wall plate at 2 oclock and 8 oclock. The fixtures at home show the screw hole locations at 4oclock and 8 oclock.
Will a plumber be required to replace these (sweating pipes not part of my playbook).

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Because you suggested that you are not the best at sweating pipes, we would recommend a plumber for this job. You will need to replace the valve in your wall. We recommend using Delta Faucet model # R10000-UNBX.
