T17078-RB not working with Shower Only Option

We have installed T17078-RB valve with RP46463 cartridge assembly. We are using this for a shower only. We plugged the tub (bottom) outlet and are only using the shower (top) outlet.

We have assembled per owners manual 68882 Rev B, page 3.

We have water into the valve and the outlet to the shower head open, but we have no water flow to the shower head.

Please verify if this valve can be used with a shower only option and if there is anything special we need to do to get the water to flow.

Answer:
Hi Diane, Thank you for your question. You can use the R10000-UNBX rough in as a shower only by plugging the tub outlet port. If you are testing the faucet both the hot and cold water supplies must be turned on for the pressure balance cartridge to operate properly. Please remove the showerhead from the shower arm prior to testing the water to find out if the showerhead itself is the issue. If your valve came equipped with stops(WS in the model number), please make sure the stops are in the open position.
Thanks,
Dave

Can I use a T17078-SS valve and a RP-43165SS (non-divert spigot) for a tub only application.

Remodeling 2 bathrooms. In the master bath we will have a shower only, and a tub only. I like being able to run hot water slowly, so I want to use the 17 series valve with separate temperature and flow controls for the "Tub only" application.
The "Tub only" arrangement is not a standard offering in the Leland series (everythig else will be Leland).
Want to know if I can use the T17078 valve, just plug the top port, purchase the spigot, and have a tub only application, similar to plugging the bottom port to have a shower only application.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17078-SS is a valve only application, so it can be paired with a shower, a handheld shower or a tub only. Your RP43165SS will work with this trim.

You will also need a valve to complete your faucet. We recommend Delta Faucet model # R10000-UNBX

what is the differance between the following two

what is the differance between the
Leland Monitor T17078-RB and the T17-T078-RB and the T17T278-RB? I've attached pics of plumbing to help answer the following question.
Here is what I am doing in my shower and please tell me what I need for diverter and temp controls to give me the most options.
I have a
Wall shower head,
multi function Hand held shower,
overhead Rain Can,
4 H2Okinetic body sprays #T50001-RB and two Body sprays model #50150-RB,
4 universal valves two Diverters and two temp controls.
What Diverters do I need, a three setting or 6 setting or both?
What Temp controls do I need?
NOTE: I'm looking at using the Leland series

Answer:
Thank you for your questions. The differences between Delta Faucet models T17078-RB, T17T078-RB and T17T278-RB is that the T17078-RB is a pressure-balanced valve only. The T17T078-RB is a thermostatic valve only and the T17T278-RB is a thermostatic shower only valve.

The Leleand series does not have temperature controls in the series by themselves. Based on what you are going to put in your shower, you will probably need more than one rough-in valve. Since you did not mention a tub, we recommend the R10000-UNBXHF which is high flow. This is only for a shower only application. You will need the 6 function diverter trim to go with that valve.
