Rough-in valve

I noticed that all the rough-in valves were listed as being able to be used with this shower faucet, what is the difference between these and is there a recommended valve?

Answer:
Hi Dave, Thank you for your question. The R10000-UNBX is the most commonly used valve. It will accept 1/2" copper, iron pipe, pex, and CPVC adapters. For a shower only the R10000-UNBXHF allows for a higher flow rate. The WS models include screw driver stops.
Thanks,
Dave

I like the Dryden Monitor 17 series, but I also need a tub only valve. Is there a part # for this?

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet does not manufacture a tub only for the Dryden series but you can purchase the valve only with the model T17051 and then the tub spout with model RP54323.
