Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17251-SS can be used outdoors as long as there is not a possibility that it will freeze at any time.

Will this perform well at 45 psi. I'm on a well and average that pressure

Thank you for your question. When using Delta Faucet model # T17251 on a well with 45 psi, you should see no difference in the GPM from the showerhead. There will still be 2.5 gpm. You might lose a gallon from the tub spout. There will probably be around 5 gpm from the tub spout.
