temp control operation

I bought this thinking I could adjust the temp and the volume independently, when I have the volume handle on I cannot turn the temp control knob. Do i just get one temp setting? Do I have to remove the volume knob anytime I want to change water temperature???

Answer: 
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17478 does have two different handles-one for volume and one for temperature. You should be able to adjust the temperature handle independently of the volume handle. When you move the volume handle, the temperature handle will turn too but it will not change the temperature of the water.

If you cannot move the temperature handle without moving the volume handle too, it may be that the screw holding those handles on is too tight. Try loosening it just a little bit to see if that helps. If it still does not help, please contact our Home Owner/Warranty line at 800-345-3358.

Thank you for your question. Delta part #R10000-UNBX Multichoice Universal rough-in valve is recommended for Delta Faucet model #T17478-SS. This item is the1700 series tub and shower for our Leleand Suite. Delta Faucet model #T17278 is the 1700 series shower only for our Leland suite.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model #T17478 is our Monitor 17 series Tub & Shower Trim in the Leland Bath Collection. T170** is equal to valve trim only. T172** is equal to shower only trim. T174** is equal to tub & shower trim.
