Addison TempAssure® 17T Series Shower Trim
Looks good, feels good.
Being overseas and purchasing on-line, it is always a gamble however this delivered on every level! Really smart looking shower, great chunky handle, we swapped the shower arm for a straight one from another Delta shower we purchased which we think looks better than the funky kinked arm. Overall it was easy to install and delivers a great 'rainfall' shower experience. House guests have complimented our choice too. Highly recommend.

The quality one expects to see from Delta, we love our new rain shower. The finish is exactly what we wanted to compliment our retro remodel. We installed a diverter value so that we could add a hand spray wand. The only plastic in the set up is in the spray wand hose. We were a little disappointed there, but overall we could not be happier with the ease of installation and the appearance of the final product.

Expensive, but very good build quality
I bought one of these 3 years ago in a previous home. We really enjoyed it - nice looking and very solid build - so much so that I bought it again, despite the really high price, for our new home. I wish the price was more reasonable, but still like it nonetheless.

I've wanted to have a temperature regulated shower for long time. It's been very frustraiting to have to tweak the separate hot/cold valves, trying to get a comfort temperature.
When I remodeled my bath (with a tub), I installed this product, and I'm going to install same to the second bathroom with shower.
When you're installing the cartridge into the valve body, make sure to use the silicone lube on the O-rings. Also, when you install the handle.
For providing stable temperature, it works pretty well. No hot surges anymore, when a toilet is flushed. But remember, that you should have your hot water temperature at max 120 degrees. This is a common safety requirement. It's easy to measure with an oven thermometer; adjust your water heater if necessary.
When I first open the water, it may squeal for a few seconds.
The rough-in valve body (not included, ordered separately) comes in two types - for bathtub with shower (with the spigot port) and for shower only - with only top port. Shower-only variant is designated as High Flow. Make sure to order the right part. I ordered the right part, but received the wrong one; had to replace it.
The showerhead for some reason wanted to twist off all the time. I had teflon tape on the threads. I'll see if using a teflon thread sealant will hold it better.
For some reason the kit with the showerhead costs only 5$ more than the kit without a showerhead.
