A wonderful concept! The idea behind this small piece is huge. The diverter lets you choose either your shower head, handshower or both. The lever is easy for anyone to use (no more push-pull knob). And the icing on the cake is you don't have to put any extra holes in your wall for a bracket. A+ all around! My remodeling/ updating customers love it. June 15, 2012

Diverter positions

Does this diverter allow for water flow through both the fixed shower head and the hand-held one at the same time? Also, does it allow to stop the water totally?

Answer: 
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # U4920-RB-PK can be used to switch the flow from the handheld shower to the stationary showerhead. It can also be used to run them both at the same time. It does not stop the water at all.

Does this revert to the original function once you turn it off?

I want to make sure that if you turn off the water and go to use it the next day if it stays on the last function you had chosen. I have an elderly lady that cannot reach the lever so the last person that leaves the shower is going to turn it on the hand shower for the lady. I dont know if it is a vacuum that works it so when it is off it reverts to the original setting.

Thanks for your question! The handle and bracket on the Delta 3-Way Shower Arm Diverter with Hand Shower Mount (U4920-SS-PK) are not designed to be switched. We do not recommend rotating the unit 180° either, as it adds additional stress on the hose bend.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # U4920-SS-PK will hold any Delta Faucet model hand shower, and it is a standard size. If you have another brand of handshower that is a standard size of 1/2 inches, it will probably work, but we cannot guarantee it.
