Delta® Introduces Two New Kitchen Faucet Options

CHICAGO

Delta® announces two new striking additions for the kitchen, the Palo™ pull-out and the Ellington™ two-handle kitchen faucet at The 2006 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS). The pull-out/pull-down category is the fastest growing segment in kitchen faucets. Palo is an affordable way to have both the convenient pull-out function and a versatile design that will blend with many décor choices. The traditional style of the Ellington two-handle kitchen faucet enables homeowners to create a coordinated look throughout their home when matched with the Ellington Bath Collection.

Palo Pull-out Kitchen Faucet

The Palo pull-out is an affordable option for those who desire a faucet that can combine with an existing design or be incorporated into future remodels.  Designed to meet the needs of the fast-growing consumer segment that demands the functionality and convenience offered by a pull-out, Palo can also be a stylish solution in other areas of the home.

“In addition to making kitchen duties easier, such as filling pots,  Palo can also be used in other areas such as laundry or utility rooms, expanding its functionality around the home,” said Danette Goen, senior product development manager, Delta.

Palo can install in a one, two, three, or four-hole application and has a two-function wand that can switch to spray or stream with just a click of a button. It also features an insulated waterway that enables the faucet to stay cool to the touch even when running hot water and a quiet, non-metallic hose that will not catch on stainless steel sinks as the hose pulls in and out of the spout base. It comes with a soap dispenser, an optional escutcheon plate and in both Chrome and Brilliance® Stainless finishes.

Ellington Two-handle Kitchen Faucet

Extending its popular Ellington Collection for the bath, introduced last May at KBIS, Delta has brought the Ellington series into the kitchen with a new, two-handle kitchen faucet.

Although it takes design cues from the bath series’ tubular structure, this traditional kitchen faucet features a slightly different look that includes a higher-arc spout and more of an S-shaped, curved metal lever handle.

“Exhibiting a similar, yet subtly different style to the bath collection, the Ellington kitchen faucet gives homeowners an affordable and completely coordinating look when combined with the Ellington Collection for the bath,” said Goen. “Homeowners don’t have to break the bank in order to achieve an elegant style throughout the home.”

The Ellington two-handle comes with the Touch-Clean® side sprayer that allows for easy removal of mineral build-up by simply rubbing it with your fingers. This is the first Delta side spray product to include Touch-Clean, which has become a staple on Delta showerheads and pull-out faucets.  The Ellington is available in a four-hole installation and in both Chrome and Brilliance® Stainless finishes.
