How do I get Delta replacement parts for a discontinued faucet model?

Faucet Replacement Parts information for many discontinued models can be found through Customer Support section of the site.

From the Customer Support Main Page you can use the Get Support & Repair Parts tab to locate your product first.

If you know your model number, enter it in the Know Your Model box provided. If you do not know your number, click on the link “Use our handy Wizard” and you will then be guided through a wizard designed to help identify your faucet. The result produces images of faucets that fit the descriptions selected in the wizard. If you see a model that matches yours, click on it and you will have access to any documents available. Parts diagrams are usually found in the Parts Diagram document, however occasionally you will need to view the Installation Instructions document if a specific parts diagram is not available.

Some older models are not available on our site.  If you cannot find it, we'll be glad to assist you in determining if parts are available for your faucet. To determine if parts are still available, call 1-800-345-DELTA (3358) or e-mail us.

How do I request faucet parts under warranty?

 

If a problem arises with a Delta Faucet a customer may request replacement parts in a variety of ways.

  1. Write - You may send a letter explaining when and where the faucet was purchased, who installed it, along with the model number to: Delta Faucet Company Attn: Product Service 55 E. 111th St. Indianapolis, IN 46280

  2. E-mail - You may e-mail the Customer Service team at customerservice@deltafaucet.com.

  3. Click here to send a message directly to Customer Service.

  4. Phone - You may call the 1-800-345-DELTA (3358) Customer Service number and speak with a representative about receiving replacement parts under warranty.

  5. Some Delta Faucet distributors will exchange parts for a warranteed faucet. You should check with your distributor first to determine their policy.

How long will it take to receive the repair parts from Delta?

About seven to ten working days. If your need is urgent, please call 1-800-345-DELTA (3358) and express this to the customer service representative to expedite shipping.

I received the wrong replacement parts. How can I obtain the correct ones?

If you received your parts from Delta please call 1-800-345-DELTA (3358) or contact us by e-mail.

If you purchased your parts from a retail or wholesale source, return them to the source for a refund or exchange, depending on store policy.

Do you have a parts breakdown for the discontinued two-handle pressure balance shower – 2300 Series?

Yes – attached is a PDF of the parts breakdown.  While some of the parts are discontinued, most of the internal parts can still be purchased.

The finish on the drain plug for my metal pop-up assembly is tarnishing, what should I do?

For all Metal Pop-Up assemblies manufactured after 1997 you will have to replace the drain flange and stopper. The part number for the stopper is RP5648. You would then attach the appropriate finish suffix to the part number. With no suffix the part will be chrome. The drain flange part number is RP23060. The flange unscrews from the rest of the pop up assembly.

For all Metal Pop-Up assemblies manufactured before 1997 you may need to replace the entire pop-up assembly. You can find information on the complete drain assembly - part number RP26533 by clicking here.

The stopper may be ordered as part number RP5648. The drain flange is not available any longer.  To replace the flange, you will have to replace the entire drain assembly.

What rebuild/replacement kit do I need?

I have two (2) showers with the same Delta Monitor faucet system, and they were installed in 1993. One of them is only passing hot water, so if I am going to rebuild one, I might as well do both!

What are the part numbers that I am need to either rebuild the faucets, or replace the entire inner assembly?

Hi Uncle Leo, Thank you for your question. Your pictured 1500 series faucet uses the RP32104 cartridge. Depending on the age of your faucet the cartridge may look different than the one in the faucet. The new cartridge comes with the parts and instructions needed to work in the 1500 series.

I have a small drip in my bathtub and kitchen faucets. Both faucets were installed in 2007. I have attached pictures of both. Please give the model number and replacement valve number for each.

Hi Linda, Thank you for your question. Your kitchen faucet is a model 186-WF, you will need to replace the RP4993 seats and springs to stop the dripping. The tub/shower faucet is the T17455-SS, changing the RP46463 cartridge should stop any dripping.

Correct Replacement Cartridge for Delta Monitor 1800 Series

I have a Delta Monitor 1800 Series which supplies a showerhead, jet modules, and a hand shower. It is leaking from the shower head. What cartridge do I need to repair the leak? I can't seem to find cartridges listed for the 1800 series.

Hi Kram, Thank you for your question. If the set screw has been removed and the handle will not come off the cartridge, mineral build up is the most likely cause. We recommend soaking a towel in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water and wrapping the towel around the handle. Allow the solution to soak in, the longer the better to help break up the build up. Once the mineral build up has loosened the handle should come off.

Hi bodo, Thank you for your question. Both our 1300/1400 series and 1700 series were considered Monitor faucets. If your faucet has a single handle that only controls water temperature the RP19804 will be the correct replacement cartridge. If your faucet has a larger handle that controls water volume and a smaller control at the end of the handle assembly that controls water temperature then the RP32104 would be the correct replacement cartridge.

Hi Dave, Thank you for your question. There was a running change done on the aerator for the model 155-DST faucet. If your existing cache aerator has an o-ring around the outside of it, you can order the RP51505 aerator adapter and an external aerator. If your existing aerator has a gasket on top of it and no o-ring, we do not offer an adapter to change to an external aerator.

Replace trim on Monitor 1500

I would like to replace the polished brass trim (sleeves, handle, temp control and wall plate) with a stainless or brushed nickel trim. I cannot find these parts. Are they available?

Hi Bob, Thank you for your question. If the screws on the escutcheon plate of your 1500 series faucet are a 2 and 7 o-clock as you are facing the plate you can convert the faucet over to a new 17 series. You will need to order a T17 pressure balanced trim in our (SS) brilliance stainless finish, a RP32104 cartridge, and a RP22734 bonnet nut to make the conversion. If the screws on the trim plate are located at 5 and 7 o-clock, both at the bottom of the escutcheon plate the entire faucet, trim and rough in valve would have to be replaced.
