How do I get Delta replacement parts for a discontinued faucet model?

Faucet Replacement Parts information for many discontinued models can be found through Customer Support section of the site.

The result produces images of faucets that fit the descriptions selected in the wizard. If you see a model that matches yours, click on it and you will have access to any documents available. Yes – attached is a PDF of the parts breakdown.  While some of the parts are discontinued, most of the internal parts can still be purchased.

The finish on the drain plug for my metal pop-up assembly is tarnishing, what should I do?

For all Metal Pop-Up assemblies manufactured after 1997 you will have to replace the drain flange and stopper. The part number for the stopper is RP5648. You would then attach the appropriate finish suffix to the part number. With no suffix the part will be chrome. The drain flange part number is RP23060. The flange unscrews from the rest of the pop up assembly.

For all Metal Pop-Up assemblies manufactured before 1997 you may need to replace the entire pop-up assembly. You can find information on the complete drain assembly - part number RP26533 by clicking here.

The stopper may be ordered as part number RP5648. The drain flange is not available any longer.  To replace the flange, you will have to replace the entire drain assembly.

What do I do if I discover that I am missing faucet parts?

Hi Glenn W, Thank you for your question!
I have determined you have our 600 series tub/shower. It is a discontinued unit and none of the current trims we offer will fit onto the existing valve body. However, we do manufacture a renovation kit part number RP54870. The kit comes with the escutcheon(face plate), screws, sleeve, dome shaped cap assembly, lever handle and internal parts. You will have to order your choice of showerhead, shower arm, shower flange and tub spout separate. The kit is available in Chrome, Venetian bronze and Stainless Steel finish. The kit can be viewed on our website www.deltafaucet.com.

Can you identify this model?

We purchased a condo and it has this set up in the tub/shower and also in the lavatory. We are trying to change it out without ripping out the walls. What model can be used to replace it? Also, cannot get the handles off. Tried soaking with vinegar solution and it will not budge. How do you remove the handles?

Answer:
Hi Carla,

Thank you for your question. You have a 1400 series shower. You can replace the trim with any of our 13 or 14 series trim kits.

13/14 Trim Selection:
http://www.deltafaucet.com/search/r...

You can remove the handle by unscrewing the shallow flat piece on the front of the handle. It may help to use a flat rubber jar opener to grip this piece. The wider accent ring will not unscrew with the cap.

Hi Tony,

Thank you for your question. You have a 1300/1400 series shower. This will allow you to install any 13 or 14 series trim kit that we currently make. However, if the unit was manufactured prior to September 2006, you will need to use the original cartridge rather than the one included with the kit.

Cam and lip seal for RP20111 conversion ball

I have a 15910 series bathroom faucet that I want to convert from a plastic ball handle to a lever. I purchased the RP20111 conversion ball and the RP17443 handle. Upon reading the instructions for installing the conversion ball, it says to "install new cam and lip seal (9) and screw the cap..."
Where does this cam and lip seal come from? No mention is made of this part until after purchasing the conversion ball. What is the part number for the cam/lip, and where do I get one?
I am using the instructions in publication 63380.

Answer:
Hi veg-o-matic,

Thank you for your question! I'm sorry for any confusion. You may reuse the cam and packing from the original unit with the Conversion Ball. If you need to replace the cam, you can use the RP188, which you can purchase through our web store.

http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairpa...

*The adjusting ring is not needed with the current cam assembly.

Answer:
Hi Maroan 41,

Thank you for contacting us! Based on the photo you have a 1600 series shower and a 500 series faucet in the Antique Brass finish.

While our current trim kits will not work with the 1600 series, we do have replace parts available in Chrome, such as the RP7577 escutcheon plate, RP6081 sleeve, and RP196 screws. Any H7 handle should work with this unit (H71, H79, H75, etc).

Is there an all chrome replacement handle?

Hello,

We'd like to update this crystal handle to an all chrome handle. The crystal handle lifts up to turn the water on and then rotates left and right for temperature control. There is a rotating ball inside the handle with a diamond shaped stem. Can you suggest anall chrome handle replacement?

Thank you for your recommendation!

We recently purchased a home built in 1999 and are remodeling. I foolishly had the shower tiled before talking to the plumber. Now, the Delta plumbing is trapped behind the new tile! We want to replace the chrome hardware with brushed nickel. Can you please tell me what is compatible with what I already have? Can I replace the cartridge without having to break into the wall? We would like to replace the shower head, trim kit and cartridge since it is fairly old at this point. As many options as you can provide would be great! The plumber was suppose to be finding this information for me, but he isn't getting back to me.

Thank you!

Hi Sara,

Thank you for your question! You have a 1700 series unit, which means that any Monitor 17 series trim kit will work with the existing valve. However, you will need to reuse the cartridge (or purchase an RP32104) instead of using the cartridge that comes in the kit. Please click the link below to browse our 17 series models in the Stainless Steel finish.

Hi noob,

Thank you for your question! Most units from this time frame can be replaced with new trim while using the existing valve. If there is a set screw on the back of the spout assembly, you will not need to change the valve.
