Many stores can order Delta® faucets that are not stocked or displayed in the store. Ask the plumbing department manager or store manager for assistance with Delta special order.
You also can preview a large assortment of Delta models in many finishes in the Online Catalog.
The finishes available vary from product to product, so not all products are available in all finishes. Brilliance® finishes, designed to not corrode, tarnish or discolor for a “like-new” look for life, are developed by embedding molecules deep into the faucet’s surface, creating a bond that is virtually indestructible. This process is known as Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD). Delta was the first manufacturer to offer this patented process that creates a bond that's virtually indestructible with an incredibly reflective shine. Brilliance resists abrasions and discoloration better than traditional special finishes and, in many cases, better than chrome.
In independent tests using the harshest drain cleaners, the Delta Brilliance drain retained its appearance, while its competitors did not come close. Tested with over 100 household cleaners, the abrasion resistance of the Brilliance finish can even withstand repeated scouring with steel wool. A Brilliance finish is guaranteed not to corrode, tarnish or discolor for as long as you own your home. It can even withstand prolonged exposure to harsh coastal environments.
Delta's Brilliance® finishes are more durable than traditional clear coating. These beautiful finishes, which give your home an instant decorator look, won't corrode, tarnish or discolor. They are designed to look like new for life. The finish was tested against more than 100 common household cleaners. Brilliance will even withstand prolonged exposure to hard water or sea air.
Pin holes in a Delta faucet spout are usually caused by "dezincification," which is the removal of zinc from the brass due to salt solutions, brackish water, mildly acidic solutions and poorly grounded plumbing systems. When the zinc is removed, the copper is redeposited to these areas and the surface of the part. The redeposited copper is a weak mass that is porous and fragile.
If this has happened, you will need to replace the spout. To determine the spout part number for your faucet model, contact your Delta plumber or showroom, or e-mail us.
Traditional Polished Brass finishes were coated with a clear coating to inhibit tarnish. Over time, this clear coat can be broken or scratched with regular wear and tear, abuse or chemical attack, causing the finish to tarnish or the coating to peel. Unfortunately, it's not possible to repair the clear coat so you will need to replace any parts of your faucet that are tarnished or badly scratched.
Normally, finish deterioration is due to years of wear and tear, abuse or chemical attack. There is no repair once the finish is damaged, however you can replace many of common faucet parts where the finish deterioration is most noticeable.
To determine the parts you need, contact your Delta plumber or showroom. You can e-mail us for assistance, or call 1-800-345-DELTA (3358).

I have a Delta 1500 Series Shower Faucet. I would like to upgrade the trim on it without upgrading the rough in valve. I have read I can upgrade to a 1700 series with a new cartridge and this allows me to fit a 17 series trim. Is it possible to fit a 14 series with a new cartridge? I find I like the 14 series product line a little better.
Thank you for your question! If the escutcheon screws are at 1 and 7 o'clock on the plate, you may use the RP32104 cartridge and any current T17 (not T17T) trim. Unfortunately, there is no way to update the trim to the 14 series using the 1500 series valve valve.
Thanks for your question. Unfortunately, based on the screw positions, you will need to install a new rough in valve in order to install a different trim.
Thank you for your question! Our towel bars can be installed in the shower.
The spec sheet will give you the height and reach dimensions for the faucet among other measurements. The faucet can be installed and used on a single bowl stainless steel sink.
Thank you for your question. The Arctic Stainless finish has a bluish tone and more quickly closely matches the stainless steel appliances in the market today. We do not compare our finishes with our competitor's finishes so I would not know how it matches the Kohler finish.
