Replacement Parts

How do I get Delta replacement parts for a discontinued faucet model?

Faucet Replacement Parts information for many discontinued models can be found through Customer Support section of the site.

If you do not know your number, click on the link “Use our handy Wizard” and you will then be guided through a wizard designed to help identify your faucet. The result produces images of faucets that fit the descriptions selected in the wizard. If you see a model that matches yours, click on it and you will have access to any documents available. Parts diagrams are usually found in the Parts Diagram document, however occasionally you will need to view the Installation Instructions document if a specific parts diagram is not available.

Some older models are not available on our site.  If you cannot find it, we'll be glad to assist you in determining if parts are available for your faucet. To determine if parts are still available, call 1-800-345-DELTA (3358) or e-mail us.

Yes – attached is a PDF of the parts breakdown.  While some of the parts are discontinued, most of the internal parts can still be purchased.

The finish on the drain plug for my metal pop-up assembly is tarnishing, what should I do?

For all Metal Pop-Up assemblies manufactured after 1997 you will have to replace the drain flange and stopper. The part number for the stopper is RP5648. You would then attach the appropriate finish suffix to the part number. With no suffix the part will be chrome. The drain flange part number is RP23060. The flange unscrews from the rest of the pop up assembly.

For all Metal Pop-Up assemblies manufactured before 1997 you may need to replace the entire pop-up assembly. You can find information on the complete drain assembly - part number RP26533 by clicking here.

The stopper may be ordered as part number RP5648. The drain flange is not available any longer.  To replace the flange, you will have to replace the entire drain assembly.

What do I do if I discover that I am missing faucet parts?

Delta 1600 Pressure Balanced Valve

We have the 1600 Pressure Balanced Valve in our hotel rooms. Is this valve still available for sale? We need to replace the whole valve.

If it's not available, what would be the replacement valve for it?

Answer:
Hi Neal, Thank you for your question. The 1600 series faucets have been discontinued since 1994. The replacement stem unit assembly the RP1991, and the RP4993 seats and springs to repair the faucet are still available. The valve body itself is no longer available. The R10000 is our new multichoice rough but it is not compatible with the 1600 series trim.
Thanks,
Dave

Tub Only Alternatives

The collection that I have chosen does not include a tub only trim kit, however I have found that Home Depot has the valve only trim kit and a non-divertor spout. Will purchasing these items work with my tub only configuration or must I choose a collection that has a tub only kit?

Hi Michelle, Thank you for your question. Combining a valve only trim and a non diverter tub spout will result in a tub only configuration. You will also need a R10000 rough in valve for a complete faucet.

If there is an anti- swivel pin underneath my Roman Tub spout, will the model #BT2710 fit as well as the T2710? Is there any difference besides looks between the two models? What does the "B" stand for? I only want to change my trim installed in 1993. And if there is no anti-swivel pin will any trim fit, including the BT2710? Also, does it matter where the set screw is on my tub deck? I have attached pictures.

Answer:
Hi Andrea, Thank you for your question. If your roman tub spout has the anti-swivel pin the spout from the BT2710 is the largest base spout available through Delta, a portion of the anti-swivel pin hole may be exposed when using this spout. If your spout does not have the anti-swivel pin then based on your photos the new trims will work with your existing rough in valve.

Dave

I have a Roman Tub with Delta trim, valves, and parts installed in 1993 when the house was built. Can just the trim be replaced with the Addison Trim (T2792)? I would have to remove tile on the front side of the tub to replace the rough(valve) and I don't want to do that. Do I also need to buy a cartridge?

Answer:
Hi Andrea, Thank you for your question, In most cases if the set screw that holds the roman tub spout onto the valve is on the back of the spout you can replace the trim only with a newer version like the T2792 using your existing rough in. If the set screw is on the front of the spout or if the spout has no set screw at all the rough in valve will need to be replaced as well.
Thanks,
Dave

What trim kits work with 13 Series fixtures?

I am wanting to upgrade our fixtures. I believe what the builder used in our 2003 home is the Classic Monitor 13 Series but I have uploaded pictures to verify. I am only want to replace the trim for the fixtures, not have to put in new valves, cut holes in the walls, etc. What collections will I be able to achieve this?

Answer:
Hi Michelle, Thank you for your question. Any of our current trim models that start with T13 or T14 will work with your existing rough ins from 2003. All of our collections will have faucets available in the T13/14 trims, although not all offer a tub only version. The new trims will come with a new cartridge. The new cartridge will not work in your existing rough. You will have to continue to use your existing cartridge or order a new RP19804.
Thanks,
Dave

Is gap between handle and neck OK?

My handyman replaced an existing Delta plastic handle with a chrome one (RP48717). This is the only one Home Depot carried. There is a gap between where the new handle ends and the plastic one used to end. See pictures. He said this is OK. Will this opening harm anything? Is there a better replacement handle?

Answer:
Hi Caryn,
Thank you for your question. The gap will not be an issue. You may be able to slide the trim sleeve out further to cover the gap, but not if it pulls the sleeve from the escutcheon.

Dave

Upgrading an old 1600 series without replacing the pipes

I have been told that I have an old 1600 series. Please see attached pictures. Unfortunately we did not know that we would need to replace the diverter and everything else to upgrade the handles and faucet. At this point, do we have any options to upgrade to a brush nickel set without having to tear out all of the new tile we just layed? If so, can you provide me with some options as to what we can buy that will work with the existing plumbing? I am not a plumber and just an amateur so the more instructions or information you can provide the better. Thanks!

Answer:
Hi Rob, Thank you for your question. The options for updating the 1600 series is limited to the chrome finish only. If you want to go with a brushed nickel finish you will have to change the entire faucet, including the rough in behind the wall. The trim pieces for the 1600 series can be ordered as individual pieces in the chrome finish but no remodel kit is available. Part numbers include the RP6083 Escutcheon, RP6081 Trim sleeve, H71 handle, RP19895 tub spout with pull up diverter, RP28599 shower head, and the RP31544 shower arm and flange. If you want to replace the inner workings of the valve the RP1991 stem assembly and RP4993 seats and springs are also available.
Thanks,
Dave

I am looking for replacement cartridges for a two handle lav faucet.

I am looking roe replacement cartridges for a two handle lav faucet. This is a "looks a lot like a Delta and Delta parts work just fine but it is not a Delta" (It is in a Manufactured home and those often have Delta look a like faucets.) I need cartridges with metal (brass) stems because the handles use a set screw rather then a through screw.

Yes I am aware of the irony of asking Delta for help with a non-Delta faucet.

Hi Olin, Thank you for your question. The RP24096 is our 2 handle cartridge with the brass stem. If you are using a lever style handle with a 1/4 turn range of motion you will want to use RP25513 cartridge which also has the brass stem.

Answer:
Hi Tonya, Thank you for your question. The clear acrylic handle on your 13 series faucet can be changed to a different style handle with a chrome finish. The H79 is the basic chrome lever style handle that would work with your faucet.
