Replacement Parts

How do I get Delta replacement parts for a discontinued faucet model?

Faucet Replacement Parts information for many discontinued models can be found through Customer Support section of the site.

From the Customer Support Main Page you can use the Get Support & Repair Parts tab to locate your product first.

If you know your model number, enter it in the Know Your Model box provided. If you do not know your number, click on the link “Use our handy Wizard” and you will then be guided through a wizard designed to help identify your faucet. The result produces images of faucets that fit the descriptions selected in the wizard. If you see a model that matches yours, click on it and you will have access to any documents available. Parts diagrams are usually found in the Parts Diagram document, however occasionally you will need to view the Installation Instructions document if a specific parts diagram is not available.

Some older models are not available on our site.  If you cannot find it, we'll be glad to assist you in determining if parts are available for your faucet. To determine if parts are still available, call 1-800-345-DELTA (3358) or e-mail us.

Do you have a parts breakdown for the discontinued two-handle pressure balance shower – 2300 Series?

Yes – attached is a PDF of the parts breakdown.  While some of the parts are discontinued, most of the internal parts can still be purchased.

The finish on the drain plug for my metal pop-up assembly is tarnishing, what should I do?

For all Metal Pop-Up assemblies manufactured after 1997 you will have to replace the drain flange and stopper. The part number for the stopper is RP5648. You would then attach the appropriate finish suffix to the part number. With no suffix the part will be chrome. The drain flange part number is RP23060. The flange unscrews from the rest of the pop up assembly.

For all Metal Pop-Up assemblies manufactured before 1997 you may need to replace the entire pop-up assembly. You can find information on the complete drain assembly - part number RP26533 by clicking here.

The stopper may be ordered as part number RP5648. The drain flange is not available any longer.  To replace the flange, you will have to replace the entire drain assembly.

What do I do if I discover that I am missing faucet parts?

You may request additional faucet parts in a variety of ways.

  1. Write - You may send a letter explaining when and where the faucet was purchased, who installed it, along with the model number to: Delta Faucet Company Attn: Product Service 55 E. 111th St. Indianapolis, IN 46280

  2. E-mail - You may e-mail the Customer Service team at customerservice@deltafaucet.com.

  3. Click here to send a message directly to Customer Service.

  4. Phone - You may call the 1-800-345-DELTA (3358) Customer Service number and speak with a representative about receiving additional parts.

Replacing Tub and Shower parts

We purchased a home that was built in 1992-97 which has "Brass" tub and shower parts. We'd like to change out to Chrome but not sure what model # for parts. First off how would we figure that out? The tub spout has a "pull down" divert if that helps ???

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer

Answer:
Hi Sandie, Thank you for your question. Pictured is a 1500 series faucet that appears to have the escutcheon/round plate screws in a line at 5 and 7 o-clock. If that is the case there is no upgrade or renovation kit available for this model. You would have to replace the rough in valve as well as ther faucet trim.
If the screw holes are located diagonally at 1 and 7 o-clock you can switch out to the new 17 series trims. You would order the Monitor 17 series trim of your choice, a RP32104 cartridge, and a RP22734 bonnet nut.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi Sskeeter, Thank you for your question. Pictured faucet cannot be identified as a Delta product. Our roman tub trims would not be compatible with other brands.

Hi Ed, Thank you for your question. The Flush IQ toilet cannot be modified to manual. There is no hole through the tank that would allow the installation of a traditional fill valve.

Answer:
Hi Joe, Thank you for your question. The reduced flow could be related to the cartridge, debris in the lines, or mineral build up. We recommend removing and cleaning the cartridge and flushing the lines. Here is a link to our How to flush the lines on your Delta tub/shower faucet video.

Difference between RP47422 and RP25513

Hello. I was going to replace the stems in my bathroom faucet. The 47422 is listed as a pair of ceramic stems. Will these interchange with the RP25513? If so, is one preferred more than the other?

Answer:
Hi Kenny, Thank you for your question. The RP47422 ceramic stem cartridges are not interchangeable with the RP25513 stem assemblies. The RP8230 is the ceramic stem assembly that can be substituted for the RP25513. The ceramic units should last longer than the other.

Dave

upgrading shower trim

Just bought a house with polished brass Delta Monitor single-handle, dual function shower trim (3 total) but don't know the model. The house was built 21 years ago and I assume they're original. Want to replace them with bronze trim. I have no problem replacing the cartridges if needed, which is probably not a bad idea given the age. The question is, will the existing valve take all Delta cartridges, or would I have to replace the valve, something I'd rather avoid.

Hi Ken, Thank you for your question. Pictured is a 1500 series faucet. You can upgrade the trim while using the existing valve. You will need to order a Monitor 17 series trim of your choice, a new RP32104 cartridge, and a new RP22734 bonnet nut. The new trim will ship with a new RP46463 cartridge, this cartridge will not work in your existing valve.

relacement of shower faucet and front plate

I have a delta shower faucet. I do not know the model #; it was put in the house by the builder (2004). It is "typical round faced delta faucet with one lever for hot/cold adjustment. I would like to replace this faucet and the faucet plate surround with a new delta. I just want to make a cosmetic changeover without making any plumbing changes. Simply put, take off the old faucet and plate, reattach to the existing value and be done. Is this possible?

Answer:
Hi Paul, Thank you for your question. Based on your description and faucet age you should have a 1300/1400 series faucet. Any of our new 13/14 series trims will work with your existing rough in valve. The new trim will ship with a new cartridge that will not fit your existing valve. You will have to continue to use your old cartridge or replace it with a new RP19804.
Thanks,
Dave

RP188 one-piece cam & packing

on Classic Single-Handle Lav Faucets, can the “old” style cap RP50 be used with the “new” style RP188 one-piece cam & packing, and if so, is the RP250 adjusting ring still necessary? Also, can the new-style cap RP1050 be used with the older 2-piece cam & packing?

Answer:
Hi Nailbiter, Thank you for your question. You will want to remove the adjusting ring from the RP50 cap to use with the 1 piece cam assembly. Without the adjusting ring we would not recommend using the RP1050 cap with the older style 2 piece cam and packing as the cap might not give enough downward pressure to create the needed seal.
