Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality. I had the 175-DST in my kitchen for about 5 years. Not long after installation, the handle began to creak. After about 3 years of use, the side spray would not turn off right away after being used. It took up to 30 seconds for the water to stop after releasing the handle. After about 5 years of use, no cold water came out. When I tried to change the cartridge, the bonnet nut wouldn't come off, so I called Customer Service 3 times to fix the issues. The representatives were very nice. First call - rep told me to soak the bonnet nut in a 50/50 solution of warm water and vinegar overnight. The next morning, I could not loosen the bonnet nut. Second call - the rep said I would have to try to apply more force to the bonnet nut, and that if I broke the faucet, to call back and Delta would let me purchase a new Delta faucet at a 70% discount. My 3rd attempt to remove the bonnet nut broke the faucet, so I called back. The rep then told me "the rest of the story", that I would have to wait 8 business days for them to ship me a new kitchen faucet. Really?! Can anyone do without their kitchen faucet for 8 BUSINESS DAYS?! Why can't they just email me a coupon for me to purchase a new one at the local big box store? I will never buy a Delta product. The "limited lifetime warranty" that came with this product is worthless because it takes 8 business days to get a replacement, and I just cannot live without my kitchen faucet for that long. I replaced this with a Moen faucet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Couple of complaints I have two issues with this faucet. First, it's very sensitive when moving the handle in the left-right direction... it's very hard to get the water temperature you want, unless it's fully hot or fully cold. The second issue is at the ripe old age of a year, the faucet arm is binding... when you try to move it back and forth the whole faucet assembly moves. I've tightened the (plastic) attachment screw under the sink as much as I can but the problem persists. I understand that's probably fixable by taking the unit apart and cleaning/lubricating it, but both if its predecessors lasted a decade before having any problems. Compared to that, a year is pretty lame.

Will see if Delta stands behind their warrantee when we get back to the vacation home to file claim.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Requires replacement parts every two - three years I am tired of having to contact Delta for replacement parts because of leaks when I have a leaking kitchen faucet all over my granite counter Since the local stores do not carry the replacement parts, I do not want to have to wait for replacement parts that "might" fix the leak to come in the mail. I believed the product would function well because it says lifetime warranty so I did not keep the box and couldn't find the receipt so obviously I am out of luck. Go Kohler for better quality and same price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The good and the "ify" The faucet is very nice! The sprayer started "sticking on" frequently when I had it about a year! Something the usual vinegar would not fix. I'm hoping it was just a quirk as I'm ordering another Delta sprayer since the generic from the local hardware would not work on the end of my hose. I think nothing cleans easier than a chrome faucet--no water spots!!

I had it installed on our fish-cleaning station at our house in Galveston. The salt air is very hard on metal, but the plumber thinks this faucet will last.

Everything worked perfectly after completing the replacement operation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Water detent hard to find Always used delta but this new faucet with diamond seal cartridge is a bit tricky to stop the dripped. Unit came with new house my wife and I bought in 2013. The cartridge might need replacing. Would like a feedback on this issue.

How do I fix the sprayer hose from pinching when I go to use the sprayer?

The sprayer hose is too short. When you pull the sprayer up to use it, it pinches because the tube from the faucet is too long or either the sprayer hose is too short. When the hose pinches, the water flow stops. I would like to be able to pull the sprayer out and use on both sides of the sink.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet has a spray hose that is 54 inches long. We do have a longer hose available for your sprayer. The model number is RP64520 and is 6 feet long. This can be purchased from your local retailer or wholesaler.

How do I find the screw which holds the handle in place? Is it under the oval button on the back of the handle? How do I get that off?

I need to replace a leaking o-ring gasket at the base of the faucet.

Hi Jack, Thank you for your question. You are correct that the set screw to remove the handle on your model 175-DST is underneath the red/blue button. You should be able to pry the button off with your fingers/finger nails to access the set screw. Thanks, Dave

will be installing a faucet on stone counter top via undermount sink of 7.5" depth

Can kitchen faucet model #400 dst be installed without using the plate that sits on the sink. I am replacing model # 441 dst that does not have a plate. Does model # 441 still exist?

Will the side sprayer on model 175-dst fit into the bottom connector on a model 101-dst
