Either defective or terrible quality
Either defective or terrible quality. The holder is coming far off from the wall looks really bad. It does screw tight, the threads doesn’t tighten up to the end. Quality is terrible, it is plastic. You spend a lot for plumbing to install the system inside the wall then when the trim comes you get a shock but get stuck in a situation. Don't buy it you will get extremely disappointed at the end. It's a waste of money

Terrible Flow
While the wand looks nice, the water flow is disappointing—it dribbles out and is virtually useless. Consumers expect high-quality products from a well-respected brand like Delta. Unfortunately, this one falls short. Rating: 1/10. Would not recommend.

What would I need in order to use this with T17T259-SS trim and R10000-UNBOX valve in a shower only application. I figured a 50560 wall elbow, is there anything else I may need?
Thank you for your question, BILL! In order to use a wall elbow and hand shower, you will need to use the diverting valve R11000 with a corresponding trim. For a 3-setting, shared position trim to match this model you will need to purchase and install T11859-SS along with the diverting valve.

Is the hand shower ADA compliant? Can it be made compliant with a vertical bar for adjustable height? If not, do you have a matte black hand shower that is ADA compliant? Thanks.
Thank you for your question, Jennie! Model 55085-BL by itself is not ADA compliant and should never be used for support however this hand shower can be used on an ADA compliant slide bar such as model 56302. Unfortunately we do not offer an ADA compliant slide bar in the Matte Black finish. Model 55044-BL-PK is offered in this finish but is not intended to be used as a grab bar but we do offer some bars in this finish as well.

I want to add this or something similar to my shower. My shower has the Kya set installed. How do I get the handheld to work at times and the showerhead at other times? If I need a diverter can it be on the lower part where you turn on the water?

Does the 55085 have a flow restricted?

Thank you for your question regarding the Delta Compel® Premium Single-Setting Adjustable Wall Mount Hand Shower and I am happy to assist you today.
This model has a built in flow restrictor which allows for 1.75 gallons of water to flow through the wand per each minute the unit runs.

Does this feature come with the entire system - meaning do you need to buy additional parts. The pictures seem to show only the holder, the faucet and the long tube (NOT the other end which connects to the wall).
Thank you for your review, Ximena! The wall elbow seen in the photo is not included but is available for separate purchase as part number 50560-BL. In order to use a wall elbow and hand shower, you will either need to connect the hose directly to the shower arm or if you plan on using a shower head as well, you will need to use the diverting valve R11000 with a corresponding trim. For a 3-setting, shared position trim to match this model you will need to purchase and install T11859-BL along with the diverting valve. Alternatively, using a Shower Arm Diverter such as the 50650-RB will also allow you to use a shower head and this hand shower, however please know we do not offer these types of diverters in the Matte Black finish currently.
