Thank you for your question Dale! The slide bar is metal. This unit also has a 60-82" stretchable metal hose. Our hand showers are non-metallic, as metal is heavier, retains heat and is susceptible to corrosion. Best regards, Edward

You will need to order a valve only trim of your choice in the (SS) brilliance stainless finish, a R10000 multichoice rough in valve, a 3 setting diverter trim model that will start with T118, a R11000 diverter rough, a RP50570SS wall elbow, a RP61058SS ceiling mount shower arm and flange, the rain showerhead of your choice, and the 57051-SS slide bar hand shower. The diverter will allow you to operate the showerheads separately or both at the same time. Thanks, Dave

Hi John, Thank you for your question. Flow restrictors are usually found in the neck or threaded end of the shower head exposed when the shower head is removed from the shower arm. While it is possible to remove flow restrictors from shower heads, we strongly advise against it for several reasons. Flow restrictors for faucets are an integral part of most showerheads and it is generally not possible or desirable to remove them. For water conservation purposes, most plumbing codes require faucets and showering devices to not exceed a certain maximum flow rate. Removing the flow restrictors could cause these devices to no longer meet these codes. At 40-50 psi the model 57021-SS hand shower will provide approximately 2 to 2.25 gpm. Thanks, Dave

This model does not include a shower elbow or a separate hand shower mount. It does include the handheld wand, hose, and wall bar with an adjustable hand shower mount that is secured to the bar. Here are three shower elbow models that have a similar style to this hand shower: 50560-SS, 50570-SS (cubicle), and U4980-SS-PK. If you are interested in purchasing a separate wall mount for your hand shower I would recommend model RP61294SS as it has a similar style to this hand shower. I hope this was helpful!
