Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good sprayer that has developed a leak Despite being soaked in vinegar periodically, sprayer has developed a leak when in use. In addition to water from the spout it also pours out of the edge. Hopefully we can get a replacement under Delta"s lifetime warranty policy. Beyond this one fail, sprayer has worked great since it was installed when home was purchased in 2009.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Low flow after two years Well add me to the low flow problem. It is in my second home which sees littl use and has a water softener and i have cleaned it n more than once and now spending 250.00 plus for a new one. This should have replaceable internal parts if it is only going to last a few years. Very disappointed for the initial price we paid.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Clogs up Low water flow. Corrodes with hard water, and flow goes to near zero. I had mine about 5 years, and it sounds like I got lucky that it lasted that long.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful Faucet, but Major Decline in Performanc I purchased this Delta faucet about four years ago and initially loved everything about it—the design, the finish, and especially the multi-spray functionality. Unfortunately, as the faucet has aged, the water flow has noticeably decreased to the point that it’s no longer performing the way it should. I’ve followed all of the recommended troubleshooting steps, including soaking components in a 50/50 vinegar solution, but the issue persists. After researching, it’s clear that many other customers have experienced similar flow problems with this model, which is disappointing for a brand I’ve trusted and chosen for its reputation for quality. I expected more long-term reliability from Delta. The faucet looks great, but the performance decline has been frustrating, and I’m hoping Delta will address this known issue so customers can continue to feel confident in their products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Low Water Pressure I agree with a majority of the folks who have had continuing issues with low pressure. I have repeatedly followed Delta's recommendations of cleaning out the filter and head with vinegar solution, etc. It does not work. Within days of cleaning pressure is low again. Very frustrating, and no real answer except to get a replacement head. I purchased my faucet about two years ago through Ferguson appliance, which is always helpful, but they have no real answer either. To everyone experiencing this issue -- get a new faucet and do not get another Delta.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Same issues as others have stated! The faucet clogs frequently has to be cleaned with a vinegar solution. Mine also rusted, after which the entire faucet had to be replaced!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This faucet is terrible. I had this faucet and all of a sudden no water pressure. Have been dealing with this for over a week. I'm soaking it in vinger and water like I seen on here to do. I will be calling in the morning for a replacement if this does not fix it. mine is less than 1 year old. Maybe 6 months.

Need a replacement wrench to fix this item

When the plumber installed my Delta faucet, he neglected to give me the " small blue T-shaped wrench that will allow you to remove the aerator from the RP51480 wand assembly". I would like to acquire a replacement wrench so that I can clean the screens.

I just received RP51480RB wand assembly. Are their instructions on how to install it. I thought it was going to unscrew at the end of the braided hose as it showed on the product picture it appears to be integral with the hose assembly.

Asked by: Rick73
Hi Rick73, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP51480RB. The hose fitting has a very small tab on it. The wand has castellations that engage that tab. Connecting the wand and hose are the same as always. But to disconnect the wand from the hose, you must hold down the small button on the tab on the hose fitting for about a quarter of a turn. From that point the tab is no longer engaged in the wand and can be removed without depressing the button. Please reach out with any additional questions! What is the best way to clean the spray head after being partially plugged, significantly reducing the water fliw?

Asked by: RonLars
Hello RonLars! Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. We apologize for this information not being readily available to you. The best way to clean the Delta LELAND® Spray Assembly - Pull-Down Kitchen MODEL#: RP51480 is to soak it in a 50% warm water and 50% white vinegar solution. We also recommend flushing the valves of the faucet. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is.  Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow.   If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines.  Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water.  Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket.  Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies. With any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly. Thank you for being a loyal Delta customer. Best Regards, Carrie

Asked by: Shannan28
Hi Shannan28, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP51480. This replacement sprayer includes a replacement hose. We have a faucet that is the same style as this but has a separate handle to turn on the water. Purchased around 2010. Need to replace the sprayer due to clogged sprayer and flow but I don't know what color. I thought ours was called brushed nickel. Help!

Asked by: Jill Saldana
Hi Jill, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet Leland sprayer. I recommend checking for a tag on the supply line under the sink with the model number. For example, 978-SS-DST indicates the stainless (SS) finish. Our stainless finish is similar to brushed nickel. The stainless finish RP51480SS is most likely for 2010. The 978-AR-DST model with a cooler Arctic stainless finish was introduced December 2012. Please reach out for further assistance or with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan

On a 9178 Ar-Dst, seems clogged,, do you need to replace the whole spray head ? Or is there a replacement for the aerator?

Asked by: DMcCoy
Hello DMcCoy, Thank you for your question! We apologize for your clogged wand/aerator and I am happy to assist you! Please try removing the Delta RP51480AR wand assembly from the hose, then turn the water on to check the flow through the hose itself and check for debris in the wand. Be careful not to let go of the hose with the wand removed or it may retract into the faucet. You can also soak the wand in a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution for about 1 hour to help dissolve any mineral buildup. If the issue remains, we recommend replacing the wand assembly. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Skyler
