Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality This matched our other fixtures in style and color well. It is heavy and well-constructed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor Design The knob is too big to get a roll on the holder without emitting a lot of force. Due to that the arm attached to the wall pulls away and damages the wall. Also had the hinge on that bar break within 18 months of install.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Toilet paper holder design flaw It looks nice however it is somewhat difficult to pass the toilet paper tube over the hub at the end of the arm due to the prominent style. Would be helpful if it was an 1/8 or 1/4 inch smaller. We are very happy with the matching towel bars.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice but not long lasting. My TP holder is about 5 years old. After about 4 years, the right side wall bracket and 'body' became loose and with the pivoting arm coming to rest on it, the weight eventually caused the body bracket to fall to the floor. This caused the plastic 'end cap' to break where the pivot arm rests. I glued it back together and kept using it. The right-side 'body' bracket became so loose again that it fell and broke the plastic again. The set screw was tightened each time, but was not catching on the wall bracket to keep it snug. I've repaired the plastic part of the 'body' bracket with plumbers tape and tightened the wall bracket, but the bracket and body mount do not fit snug even after tightening the set screw as much as possible. I've spent too much time trying to fix the plastic and mounting bracket and screw, and it's close to its 5 year warranty anyway. Not sure what I'll buy, as I have the entire matching Lahara collection in my bathroom.

Q&A

Is this a pivoting arm or a spring loaded rod

Delta's site says pivoting arm yet online retailers looks like spring loaded rod
Asked by: Bolivarspeck
Hi Bolivarspeck, Thank you for your question. All of the model 73850 tissue holders currently being manufactured are the pivoting arm version. Online retailers may still have spring loaded versions in stock. Thanks, Dave

Has the pivoting arm design changed in recent years? Does just the bar that holds the paper flip up, or does the knob on the end come with it. In other words, are you slipping the paper roll over the thin bar or over the knob at the end of the bar?

Asked by: Gene G
Thank you for your question, Gene G! This toilet paper holder has been redesigned with a pivoting arm that flips up. The toilet paper roll will go over the knob at the end. If you have questions or need further assistance with this repair, please feel free to contact us directly. Best regards, Edward

One of the reviewers stated that a roll of toilet paper would not fit on the pivoting arm. What is the diameter of the end of the arm?

Asked by: mem05
Just had installer put this in. Can't find a diagram or instructions on how to use this thing. Arm does pivot, but toiler paper roll diameter does not easily fit over end of pivot arm. Extremely disappointed with this product. Not useable.

Does the arm pivot up without the end post coming up? That's not evident in the online photo.

I have the other Lahara bath and light fixtures and love them. I need to see a picture of the arm up to make sure paper will slide onto arm.
Asked by: marietheo
Hi Marietheo, Thank you for your question. The end of the endpost for the Lahara paper holder is part of the pivoting arm that moves. I have attached a picture of the model 73850-RB below. Thanks, Dave

Size of pivoting arm?

In one of the reviews it was mentioned that a toilet paper roll doesn't fit over the end of the pivoting arm. Is this true or will a standard toilet paper roll slide over the end of the arm just fine? I don't know why a toilet paper holder would be made so that it is not convenient to change the toilet paper roll. Want to make sure before I purchase this item... Thanks!
Asked by: Sam
Hi Sam, Thank you for your question. The size of the pivoting arm that that paper roll goes over on the model 738250-SS is 1-1/4". Thanks, Dave
