Got this to match Dryden faucets - looks nice but the actual towel bar (center piece) is poor quality. It's thin and wobbles (i.e., doesn't fit tightly into the end pieces that anchor into the wall).

Can the rod be cut shorter?

Thank you for your question. The Delta 75124 towel bar can be cut shorter, however, modifying the product can result in voiding any warranty the towel bar may have.

Can the Dryden Towel Bar be cut down in length?

Can you mount this on a glass shower wall?
I would like to have our towel bars on our shower door/wall versus on the drywall.

Has this been a design update to this towel bar?
I recently purchased the 24" Dryden chrome towel bar on Amazon; the model # was 128884. Has Delta issued a updated version - under model # 75124? I returned the Amazon purchase as the square bar attached to the end caps via round pegs; this flawed design caused the bar to spin/pivot. I purchased the entire Dryden suite for my bath remodel, and hope to find a towel bar that mirrors the quality of the other Dryden fixtures. My Dryden double towel bar (model 75125) has square pegs in the end caps and doesn't have the above problem.
Hi CarolinaOnMyMind, Thank you for your question. There has not been a design change on the model 75124 towel bar. The mounts that the square bar go over are rounded. This model is not engineered the same as the model 75125 double towel bar.

The Dryden towel bars in our new home rotate/pivot. I have never had a towel bar do this. Is the correct or did our builder not know what they were doing!!

I have Dryden fixtures, Want to lengthen towel bar. can I order 24” bar only? Currently have 18”. Stainless I think. Slightly brushed on surface.
