What type of stem does this fit?
I want to use it to replace an existing handle on a Delta fixture that has a diamond shaped stem
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # H769 will fit any 1300/1400 series Delta Faucet. What you have described as a diamond shape sounds like a 600 series faucet, and this model will not fit your faucet.

Does this faucet have the ability to adjust the flow of water?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet H769 handle kit.
This handle would fit a 14 series tub/shower such as model 14469-LHP--H769. 14 series does not have flow or volume control. The handle turns on the faucet and controls the temperature.
