Complete the look in your bathroom with a shower from the Classic Bath Collection. Delta® showers with Monitor® pressure-balance valves are engineered to make sure you don’t experience a sudden and possibly unsafe change in water temperature as a result of running water elsewhere, such as using a dishwasher, flushing a toilet or running a washing machine. While other products may gather unsightly mineral buildup over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look — with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. You can install with confidence, knowing that Delta showers are backed by our Lifetime Limited Warranty.
  • Spray settings include: Full Body spray, Fast Massage spray, Full Spray with Massage, High-Efficiency spray, and Pause
  • Pause feature reduces water to a trickle, giving you space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks while maintaining your temperature settings
  • Soft, rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime buildup from the spray face of your shower head with the touch of a finger
  • Monitor® pressure balance valve keeps water temperature within a safe ±3.6° F (±1.7° C), helping to protect you from sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our customer was converted a walk-in closet into a bathroom in the lower level in their lake cabin that the rent out as an Air BNB. They wanted something that they know they would be able to get wouldn't have issues with that would always have parts available. You can always count on Delta Classics with the lifetime warranty. This is a great valve for so many applications.

Does this knob rotate up/down to control flow rate and left/right for temperature?

Hi, Jacy! Thank you for your question. The Delta Monitor T13222 Shower Faucet handle turns right to left for on and also changes temperature the same way. The handle doesn't push up to turn on. Best Regards, Rosanna

Can I replace the acrylic handle with other handles?

The shower faucet is a Delta with the acrylic handle that adjusts both flow and temperature. Is there a chrome handle that will replace that handle?

Hi Mick, Thank you for your question. If the handle on your current faucet only moves counter-clockwise to turn the faucet on and clockwise to turn it off you can switch out the acrylic knob handle to any of our handles that fit a 13/14 series tub/shower faucet. If the knob on your current faucet pivots and turns you can switch out the acrylic knob to a lever style handle like the RP17443 but you will also need to order the RP20111 conversion ball to make the switch. How do I remove the plastic knob in order to replace the cartridge inside the handle?

Shower sleeve

I have the Classic Monitor 13 Series. I ordered a replacement chrome sleeve RP50879. However, the older sleeve extends further under the clear handle than the new one. Is there a replacement one that does the same, or is this the only replacement available?

Feature: Pull On/Push Off?

I'm installing a new shower/tub and I'm looking for a faucet that is capable of pull on/push off. Does this faucet have this feature, or do any of your other faucets have this feature? Thank You!

Hi Brian, Thank you for your question. None of our tub/shower faucets offer the pull on /push off function. They turn counter-clockwise to turn on, clockwise to turn off. Thanks, Dave

Which other Delta models are interchangeable with the classic monitor 13?

I don't want to change out the valve but are there trim/handle kits that would work with the valve assembly?

Hi Ian, Thank you for your question. If your screw holes on the escutcheon/trim are at 1 and 7 o-clock you will be able to switch the trim out. Any trim that starts with T13 or T14 will work on your valve/ rough in. If the valve was purchased after February 2006 you will be able to use the cartridge that comes with the new trim, if not you will have to use the existing cartridge. Thanks, Dave

Does the escutcheon, shower arm and shower head come with this kit? Is the shower head metal or plastic?
