Rated 5 out of 5 by Tanzy Great faucet, quick and easy installation
It was nice to buy a faucet without having a zillion pieces to it and several pages of instructions. It came with everything we needed. No other parts needed, like cartridges. Price was excellent. Would buy another Delta faucet any day.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Mike43 Nice - but problems
I purchased this at Lowes in August 2015 and have lived with a thumping noise or three when first turned on. Read that diverter may be problem. Thumping is reduced with the aerator off, but don't use it that way. Assume this is warranty problem - must get my plumber back at my expense - bummer. Mike -
Will look to youtube for video on replacing first.
Please evaluate and provide diverter or answer to difficulty I'm experiencing.

Originally bought a Lowes Project Source faucet for my home. Turned out to be poor quality and needed to be replaced after one year. I decided rather than replace it with the same product under warranty to upgrade to a Delta so I could install and not have to be concerned with replacement or repair for years .
Now after one day the new faucet is making the same chugging noise as described by other reviewers. This is in a home that I lease . So now I need to drive back, remove the faucet, return it to the store, buy a new one and drive back to the property and install it. So this will end up being four trips to the home and several hours of time that could have been spent elsewhere. I'm very disappointed after buying what I thought was a high quality product.
It seems as there is a inherent problem with this product but the faucet still makes its way to store shelves without being corrected.

Is a bad diverter (possibly dirty diverter) the resolution to the other folks who had the same thumping when turning on the water? I do not want to take apart and replace for no reason, especially since the alley nut is stripped and will be a pain to take off.
Purchases this without looking at the review, I always look at the reviews, thats what I get. Figured Delta faucet should be good to go.

Install was easy and pretty clear cut. As some have noted in reviews, divertor valve was bad out of the bow (Thumping sounds when water is turned on). Company sent a new one free of charge. Seems the replacement was of differant design. Sounds like they new their was an issue from the get go but decided to let customers deal with it after the purchase.

I too have the problem with noise when turning the faucet on.
It dose not clunk when the sprayer is turned on.I talked to a very pleasant service person who is sending me a new diverter which should cure the problem. I have used Delta faucets for many more years then I can remember and have never had a problem like this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mudpacker Delta faucets always works, easy to replace parts
Easy to install, looks good and is always reliable. Had a Moen which leaked, replacement parts expensive, and didn't live up to their commercials. The price was one of the cheapest of any single handle faucets. Finally, every part of the faucet is guaranteed for life!

We bought this faucet and have used it less than a month, but so far it is pretty good. I have always liked the Delta brand as they used to advertise that they would never leak or drip. That has always stuck in my mind. However we are also cost-conscious. Last time our faucet needed to be replaced, we went with a competitor which also has a quality product. However within 3-4 years, we needed a new one. I was shocked quite frankly. Apparently the screws underneath were metal and they rusted/corroded and the faucet ended up getting loose. The person who installed our new microwave took a look at the loose faucet and recommended we get a new one. At the store, we saw the Delta faucet. The faucet was reasonably priced and we ended up going with it. When the person who installed the faucet fitted the faucet under the sink, he showed me that the Delta faucet uses these screws that are more rubber-like so they won't corrode. I expect this faucet to last longer than my previous one.
