Savile Single Handle Kitchen Faucet with Spray 3.4 5 10 10
Luv Luv Love this faucet! I am so happy with this faucet! I needed to cover up 2 extra holds left by an old 4 hole faucet and this one covered up the holes perfectly by using the plate that was included. We did have to ream out the main faucet hole as the new faucet was bigger around than the old one. Other than that the installation was easy. The sprayer button is on the front so you do have to be careful when picking it up or you will be sprayed. I was sprayed a couple of times because I was used to the button being on the back of the sprayer. I do love the look and the design of this set. I would highly recommended this faucet! This faucet is highly deficient in both design and function The faucet was easy to install. Once that was accomplished, and water turned on, the problems arose. The Hand held spray unit leaks for a time when released. The aerator does not inject sufficient air into the water stream, causing the water to splash excessively. Delta replaced the aerator, but the new one works the same as the original. To repair the spray, they sent a control valve for the main faucet. I would not recommend the purchase of this unit. Love the faucet, but leaks Purchased this faucet August, 2014. Love the design, easy install. But the sprayer kept leaking at the connection of the hose to the sprayer. We just wiped up the drips as they occurred until I finally unscrewed the sprayer from the hose and found that the threads on the hose section were damaged. As that part of the assembly was pre-assembled, I never noticed it, Will be filing for a replacement hose hose as a warranty replacement. January 1, 2015
Good looks, iffy performance I've always had good luck with Delta products (my dad was a plumber who preferred them, too), so I bought this with high hopes. It does look nice, but there is one big issue: It drips. A lot. Over the course of a year or so, the handle has gotten increasingly finicky; that is, you couldn't just push it to the left and expect it to shut off. It's gotten to the point where there is only one tiny, exact spot you can put the handle so the faucet doesn't drip. The result: constant dripping because no one expects that turning off the faucet should be an act of precision engineering. Making things worse, I bought and installed it as a surprise for my wife, who didn't share my appreciation for its aesthetics. Now it drips like crazy (if you don't obsess on the handle) and I look like a schmuck for buying an expensive faucet that's increasingly difficult to shut off. My wife is not happy. December 24, 2013
Easiest I've ever installed I despise plumbing and dreaded putting a new faucet. The install was very simple, the new push in style fittings worked flawlessly, I was very skeptical of them. The only downside was the attached supply lines, great idea but they were very much longer than I needed and very stiff, butI understand the need to make them that long to cover the wide variety of install options. Love the faucet Love the faucet.Easy to install. The only problem I am having is a part I am looking for.I have the Savile model #11949-dst. I am looking for the 2.2 gpm aerator. I ordered the part number the manual had listed rp53998 however it does not fit my faucet. It will not screw in. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. April 1, 2013
Design and quality Ease of installation was great. The sprayer drips after every use (quality) The spout has a spring that keeps it from being set to one side or the other and out of the way when using the sink. (design) Can the spring be released or unhooked? October 6, 2013
Sorry I bought this faucet Spout swivels to easily, will not stay in desired position. Hose on sprayer is not flexible enough. After one month cant get used to handle hot cold on off. It seems to me like handle should shut off in down position. on in up position. March 14, 2013

Can the aerator on this model be changed to one that has more of a "shower" type spray?

Answer:
Hi Melissa, Thank you for your question. The wand on the model 19949-SSSD-DST has a 2 function sprayhead. A toggle switch allows you to switch back and forth between a normal stream mode and a spray mode similar to a side sprayer/shower type of spray.
Thanks,
Dave

Can I use a portable dishwasher with this faucet?

I can't find an adapter that will fit the threads once I remove the internal aerator from the faucet.

Answer:
Hi Frustrated, Thank you for your question. If the cache aerator in your model 11949-SS-DST faucet has an o-ring around the outside of the aerator then you can use our RP51505 adapter to convert to a standard 55/64-27 male thread. If your cache aerator has a gasket on top of the aerator we do not offer a 13/16" adapter to convert this faucet.

Can this faucet be mounted with the control lever in the front not using the deckplate.

Customer wanted this to be able to control from the front, or back. It seems like it could be done

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 11949-SSSD-DST can be used without the deckplate and you may turn the faucet so that the handle is in front. The hot and cold will then be left and right instead of forwards and backwards.
