Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 31 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Delta Lewiston Kitchen Faucet beats the competition. We went thru 2 Moen faucets before we came upon the Delta Lewiston Kitchen Faucet. The competitor's model was nearly impossible to swing the arm left to right (even on the warranty replacement) and the housing was only secured to the sink at one point making overall movement of the entire faucet a problem. As bad as all that was, the Delta above had none such difficulties and is wonderful. The Delta is a taller model (most useful) and is noticeably sturdy. A great value and performer. I will always purchase Delta faucets in the future. July 7, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Easy installation Bought this faucet to replace another brand that had a cracked hose/line. The hose was easily replaced but found the coupling was leaking and needed replacement. The old faucet coupling could not be replace/repaired and a new faucet was needed. Chose "Delta" based on plumbers recommendation, after removing the old faucet the install of Delta faucet went easily. I did watch the Delta website video "how to"and felt I could install this without major disaster. Saved $150+ on a plumber fee and so far no problems. June 12, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great looking faucet We have had this faucet in our kitchen for about a year now. My husband installed himself....said it was the easiest installation of a faucet he had ever done. We absolutely love it. The sprayer works great for reaching into the corners of the sink and over larger items. Soap dispenser is nice, now i don't have to keep the bottle of dish soap on my counter. This faucet is also very easy to turn on when hands are dirty or messy, by just using a forearm or elbow. July 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by The pull out sprayer is nice This faucet has the diamond technology so it should last for years without getting a slow drip. I like the fact that I can pull out the spray without having to use a separate one. I have been very pleased and I like the two separae streams I can get. I use the steady spray when using the garbage disposal and the wide spray for most everything else. The steady spray is nice for filling up the coffee pot. I give it an A++. May 10, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Delta kitchen facet easy to install Have had it for one month, it is estethically appealing snd functional. I did not give it 5 stars as the installation instrunctions are very lacking. For the do it yourselfer they lack detail as to the labeling of parts, the drawing does not clearly indicate where the part goes and the packaging is confusing as it puts things with the soap pump that need to be installed on main faucet post so I had to unhook the sprayer hose more than once. The detachable sprayer head is plastic which I do not mind as our water is hard and the lime curodes metal faucets. This replaced a 14 yr old Delta basic faucet.. I wiil keep you posted on how well it holds up..so far so good we love it. March 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Way better than my last faucet! I bought this to replace a Delta that came with the house (the house was 20 yrs old when I moved in in 1991). The fingertip control requires no effort. It's simply a very attractive, easy-to-install faucet. Beautiful! October 22, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Second delta kitchen faucet in 3 years I bought this new Delta kitchen faucet to replace my existing faucet that was constantly dripping and could not get repair parts from LOWE'S. I installed the new faucet and low and behold after 5 weeks it too started dripping and come to find out the replacement part for this faucet is the same part that I needed for the old faucet. I ended up calling a plumber to repair the drip and now it is okay. I have Moen, Price Pfister, and Kohler faucets in showers and bathrooms that have been in there for a minimum of 10 years without a problem. What does that say about Delta. December 19, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by not Delta quality It lasted 2 years before it needed to be replaced. If you like replacing faucets every 2 years this is the one for you. June 5, 2013

Answer:
Hi Dan, Thank you for your question. The orange switch on the RP50587 cartridge controls the Handle Limit Stop. When the switch is set to the left, the handle has the full range of motion between the hot and cold temperatures. When the switch is set to the right the handle motion limits the amount of hot water in the mix.
Thanks,
Dave

Answer:
Hi Kitchen Guru,

Thank you for your question. A cache aerator like the one used in Delta Faucet model # 16926-SD-DST is an aerator that is hidden up inside the spout. It usually needs a key to remove it.

Thanks.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 16926-SD-DST contains a soap dispenser that does not break down into separate parts. If you need a new bottle, a new soap dispenser will need to be purchased from your local retailer or wholesaler. The part number is Delta Faucet model # RP50781SS.

Replace aerator

In your FAQ about Lewiston faucet - a question as to how to replace the aerator is asked. The answer given is that it is not replaceable, and a whole new wand assy must be purchased. I just installed a Lewiston # 16926-SSSD-DST faucett and it came with a small blue wrench to remove the aerator which certainly looks to be replaceable. Can the aerator on my faucet be replaced and if so where can I obtain one as it is not listed in the parts diagram, also can I get just the soap dispenser bottle.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 16926-SSSD-DST contains a wand that has an aerator that does not have its own separate part number. The wrench can be used to remove the aerator for cleaning it. However, if the aerator needs replaced, then the whole wand will need to be replaced.

To your other question. the soap dispenser does not break down into separate parts. If you need to replace the bottle, the soap dispenser model number is RP50781SS.

Hot water takes forever

The faucet is pretty close to the water heater, perhaps 15 feet away. This faucet must have a lower flow than my previous 20 year old faucet, as it takes forever to get hot water now.

I see from another question that the aerator cannot be replaced. Is there a better wand help me such as the MultiFlow wand on the Linden? Or other suggestions to get hot water faster?

Thanks,

Jeff

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 16926T-SSSD-DST has a 1.5 gpm at 60 psi flow. Your older faucet may have had a stronger gpm. We do manufacture some pullout faucets that have 1.8 gpm. You may just need a higher flowing faucet.
