Rated 2 out of 5 by BarryD The Delta faucet this replaced was a much better faucet.
This Delta faucet replaced the new home Delta faucet of same design that was 12 years old. The finish on the new faucet spout is inconsistent and spots easily. The hose for the pull out spout readily kinks and stops water flow; this really inhibits the convenience of the pull out spout feature; often requires two hands to perform desired task; old faucet hose did not kink. The escutcheon of the new "replacement" market faucet has a smaller footprint than the "new home" faucet it replaced; thus the marring on the sink from previous Delta escutcheon is visible since new faucet installed. Overall, quite disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by LarryC After 3 weeks already difficult to shut off
I've had this unit installed for just three weeks (by a professional plumber) and already am experiencing difficulty completely shutting the water off. I have to precisely center the handle and push down all the way (sometimes putting pressure on it more than once) to get the water to stop leaking. Over time, I can only see this getting worse. This shouldn't happen with a brand new faucet! Also, the water flow is disappointing compared to the 7 year-old Delta faucet I replaced. Takes a lot longer to get my dishes washed now. I don't believe this was a good investment.

Rated 2 out of 5 by WillinIowa okay for a little while
We had this faucet in our old house and loved it. It seemed rock solid. So when we moved to a new house that needed a new sink and faucet we went straight for what we knew and loved. Upon installation it seemed cheaper - it wasn't as steady and solid and just didn't quite feel the same, but it worked fine and still looked great. Fast forward three years and now it's virtually impossible to get the water to stop; it takes a lot of very fine tuning to finally shut the water off and it's getting worse, fast. I'm afraid we'll be resorting to the shut-off valves under the sink soon. Does Delta just not make 'em like they used too? I'm pretty frustrated that a company with a reputation like Delta would make something that seems like it's only got a usable life of 3 years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by WXNole Decent Faucet
I do like the way it looks and the concept of the integrated pull-out sprayer with just a button to push to access it. However, I find the water flow with the sprayer to be pretty weak (though, maybe that's an issue with my home's water pressure). The valve that shuts off/turns on the water failed after only a few months, but Delta replaced the part for free with free overnight shipping. Excellent customer service!
Overall, I wished I would have paid a little more and gotten a higher-end Delta model.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LittleGrandma Leaking problem after 2 months of use
We bought a single handled Delta pull-out kitchen faucet about 8 years ago. The installation was surprisingly quick and simple and we really loved it. It recently developed a leak around / under the handle and we decided to replace it. The old model wasn't available when we went to replace it so we had to buy a different model but the design was nearly the same. About 2 months after installation, the new faucet developed a leak in the same spot as the old model. I am disappointed that both faucets failed and I am hoping that Delta's customer service can assist with these problems.
I know Delta makes great products, that's the reason we bought Delta to begin with. I plan to install the "old" faucet in my mother-in-law's apartment after repairing it. I still love the finish and design of both products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by David53 Faucet will not shut off
I also bought this faucet about a year ago and like previous reviewers, the faucet started to leak if not turned off in a certain way (handle pushed to the far right then down to the "off position"). Over time, this problem has gotten worse and now it is very difficult to shut off. I am very disappointed with this product. I have used Delta products for decades and have had very good service from them, but this one doesn't come close to matching up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by viv67 Very nice
This has worked great in our laundry room.
But after just installing a pull down faucet in the kitchen, I would choose a pull down faucet, if I had it to do over.
Nothing at all wrong with the pull out faucet, in fact when we purchased that, we remembered that because of the window sill above the sink, the goose neck pulldown would not work there.
Delta faucets are great and they stand behind them . Service is wonderful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mark17390 much better product than price-pfister
This faucet replaced a similar price-pfister unit that failed after 6 months. When we installed the P-P faucet it took 2 hours and a special basin wrench to complete. After the unit failed we got the Delta. No special tools needed and it was in place and working in 30 minutes. A great product! A family member works at Lowe's (where both units were purchased) and will definitely recommend Delta over Price-Pfister.
