Delta Single Handle Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet with Soap Dispenser 3.5 5 14 14
Works better than any other faucet we ever tried!! We recently had it installed and after a little piece of a plastic washer clogged the internal strainer was removed ( the company that installed it took responsibility for using the incorrect item when installing it caused a severe restriction in the water flow) thanks to the information from product support we were able to remove the obstruction in less than 20 minutes we were back at the original amoutn of water flow we had from when it was installed only a week prior. Works great and easy to refill the soap dispenser. On our next home renovation we will use only Delta brand faucets. October 17, 2012
Nice looking faucet Generally this faucet looks and works great. The only negative things about it are: when you run the water through the faucet, it sounds louder than our old faucet (a different brand). You can hear it almost everywhere in our house. I'm not sure if it is the water supply lines provided with this faucet or if the sound is coming from the aerator. Sometimes (but not always) the faucet will drip out some water after it has been shut off and an adjustmet to the handle has to be made. This faucet is effortless to operate and it looks great. Unforgiving I bought this singled handle faucet as a replacement for another brand when that one quit working after 18 years. The plumbing supply house had stopped carrying the other brand. So, I chose a Delta 470 DST Sink Fct 10R3 Pull Out, as similar to the old faucet as I could find, at $191.92, plus tax. It APPEARED to be exactly what I wanted. This faucet has annoyed me a whole year. Today, scalded several times, I've had it. The water comes through either hot or cold, there is a hairline space where the water is warm. The dishwasher and the clothes washer both use that hot water tank, which I keep at 125 degrees. Today, I called the supply house and am now going online to find a more forgiving single-handle faucet that will allow a mix of cold and hot water. This is the only Delta faucet in our house. It is now temporary. March 20, 2013
Black ring at the bottom is making black lines down my sink!` This is the second attempt at writing a review...somehow the last never got published. I paid three hundred for this faucet and two hundred to have it professionally installed. After 1 1/2 years the black ring at the base began deteriorating and black stuff was going into my sink. I make bottles in the sink, so I am very concerned. I called Delta and they sent me a new ring. I called again and they told me they sometimes wear out. I am supposed to take the dink apart and have it re-installed for another 200.00...so in 1 1/2 more years I can do it again??? I don't think so. I have owned may homes and many faucets and have never had such a problem. I am still living with the faucet and trying to wipe the black stuff around the base, but really this is unacceptable! Delta needs to improve this faucet and stand by their products and customers! October 21, 2012
Faucet has annoying drip -- almost since Day One The faucet leaked within a week or two after installation. When the handle is in the Off Position the faucet drips from the spout. The recommended fix is to replace the Valve Assembly (part RP50587). The part cost almost $40 + shipping/handling. This after I paid almost $300 for the faucet plus the labor cost for having a professional plumber install the unit. Very disappointing. No more DELTA products for me. May 27, 2012
Great Faucet- Needs one minor tweak Fantastic faucet- 2nd one we've purchased. Replaced the faucet at our old house with the exact same unit. Only complaint is where the pullout inserts back into the main body- it could be designed a bit sturdier and made to actually lock in so the seam between the 2 parts isn't as obvious, or gapped if not pressed firmly in. More of a visual annoyance than anything. July 11, 2012
Our second delta We purchased this because our last Delta worked great. This model is a little touchier getting a good temp for washing dishes. Just a tiny bit to the left and it can be too hot, just a tiny bit to the right and it's too cold. We dropped the temp of the hot water heater to try to compensate. July 16, 2012
Fair Product I have had this faucet 1 1/2 yr. and I have already replaced the spout and it squeek when I turn it. I like the looks, but that's about it. June 13, 2012

leaks from under single handle kitchen faucet

We replaced seats and orings to stop run on drip. Now it leaks from under the handle. What to do now? We had a hard time putting everything back together.

sticky & hard to swivel

The head gets hard to move from a full left to a full right side usage. Inject WD40 into top and bottom seams on the pillor which allows smooth and easy motion. As this is a tempory fix what is your perminate fix for this condition.
