Grant Single Handle Pull-out Kitchen Faucet
not what I would have expected from Delta
I got this faucet less than a year ago and have already put 3 kits in it due to leaking, and handle not returning to center to shut off.
This time, I have noticed it took all of three days to start leaking again, but it also is flopping around, the piece that tightens it down broke off. I can hardly use the faucet now and am rather frustrated. If I fix it again, it will only do the same thing.
Overall, I have always loved Delta products, and tried to have them in my homes. I hope this is just a design flaw, and not overall standard for their products now. I believe they are one of the best in the industry, except this model.

hard to cut off
We are used to single handle faucet but, this one you have to pay attention, if you don't return handle to mid position when you cut off, the water will keep running. several times we have found later that the water didn't cut all the way off. It's taken a lot to get use too. also faucet could be a little longer to reach further towards middle of sink, don't always need to use pull out.

Looks nice, but poorly designed
Looks nice, and was easy to install, but a month later the wand won't sit in the hub properly. There is a rubber o-ring that holds the wand into place when inserted into the hub and it keeps slipping off and falling down the hose. So every time it happens I have to disconnect the hose and look for the rubber o-ring, which is a pain. Other than that, The faucet is great.

Looking good so far. Time will tell.
I'm replacing a 10 year old single valve Delta faucet. I decided to replace rather than rebuild. The new 06953 is certainly a lot more plastic. The old unit was heavy and durable looking. I'm not impressed with the light plastic design but I suppose that's the trend. Time will reveal durability and reliability. I have several other Delta products I'm happy with.

installation was easy & faucet works well
the installation was done easily by following the instructions. The faucet works well. I like the single valve design and am hoping for many years of "no leaks". One of the items I liked most is Delta's web site. I really like how easy it was to create a profile, add the faucet owned to the profile and list every single spare part needed so that if a spare part is ever needed (say 10-15 years from now), I can go to my profile, get the part number and order it quickly.

Perfect size for me
I replaced a cheaper tract house laundry room faucet with this Delta model. I love the shorter handle so I can get a bucket under it and into the sink. It swivels so easily and the pull out handle is a very nice feature.

Product performs as advertised.
I like the features of this faucet. It slides out easily to use as a sprayer but connects back securely to use as ordinary faucet.
Also, faucet was easy to install.

Overall poor qualtiy
My faucet was purchase and installed in February of 2014.
After approximately 4-months of usage, the o ring that helps seat the removable spout into the faucet finally broke after is slipping off the indented position. I have not been able to find the exact o-ring so I ended up with one that is a but thicker which makes it harder to securely place the spout into the body.
After about 6-months, the water did not shut off all the way. I tightened the bonnet nut as described within the instructions. That worked for a while. I have now tightened 2-other times to the point where it cannot be tightened anymore. While it shuts off, it is now leaking under the handle. So now I have to go back to HD to see if they carry a cartridge replacement.
I did a bathroom remodel 2-years ago and chose Delta single handle faucets for the sinks and showers. I purchased those through my designer at Henry Plumbing where they apparently carry the higher quality Delta products. My designer told me not to by the cheaper Delta products that HD carries. I thought she was trying to justify the high price of the fixtures that were quoted on the remodel job. Now I know she was telling the truth.
For a $138 Delta faucet, I am extremely disappointed in my kitchen faucet.
