What causes the air gap to leak?

We are a kitchen and bath dealer/contractor and supplied this to a customer. It is connected to a reverse osmosis unit correctly by a licensed plumber.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. When using a reverse osmosis system, you may hear air being pulled through the air gap when the system is recharging and water is being discharged. This is normal for the air gap.

However, if it is leaking water out of the air gap, then there is a restriction on the discharge side of the air gap into the drain. It needs to be cleared.

Is it normal for the water tube to rotate freely within the faucet

I recently purchased this 1914-ss-dts faucet and a 441-ss-dst. The supply tube rotates freely in the 1914 and doesn't in the 441. Haven't installed yet as I am waiting on Granite installers, but didn't want to have a problem when the time comes!

I'd like to connect a PUR® classicclear™ Vertical Mount Faucet Water Filter to this faucet. How would you suggest I go about converting the RP64874 cache M18x1 thread to a 55/64" 27 thread (female or male, I don't care, just not cache)?
