My husband insisted on this faucet for our kitchen remodel project. I balked at the price but since he is the cook, I gave in and now 2 years later the faucet has had no problems and we both love it. Would highly recommend it.

This faucet is a godsend if you have young children and are tired of running around the house turning off all the faucets they left running. We definitely save money on our water bill now that the kids can't leave the faucet running.
I didn't give it perfect scores on Performance and Design because it didn't come with a hard-wire kit and it seems before we know it the faucet is blinking and we have to change the batteries. With a hard-wire kit this would have gotten 5 stars and excellent marks for Performance and Design.

by Kirin One senses ghosts, the other needs to be touched
I have three Dryden with Touch20 technology. A short one in a single basin vanity without any problems. And two tall ones on the dual vessel vanity. The vanity is 72" quartz. Black marble vessels. Spacing between the two faucets are 36". I have placed the battery packs as far apart as they can be on the floor of the cabinet. The one on the left closest to the window has spontaneously activated once when I was in another room, and twice when I am either sitting in front of it or fiddling around with the unit on the right.
The unit on the right, doesn't do the handsfree feature. It needs to be touched to turn on and off.
Lever action on both is fine. The grounding wire has been bolted down but to no avail.

by LAMak Compromised by an Expensive Non-functioning "Touch" Feature
This review is of a Delta Faucet 9159T-AR-DST Trinsic Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet Featuring Touch2O Technology, Arctic Stainless installed in March 2014. Even after a five hour installation attempt by a licensed plumber, carefully following the included instructions, avoiding any metal-to-metal or electric component overlap, and installing an under sink insulation barrier, plus a service call directly to DELTA seeking advice, we are still without the ability to use this faucet's touted "touch" feature. The problem appears to revolve around an inability to ground the solenoid electronics so that a touch activates the ON / OFF function. Our white-porcelain-over-cast-iron-sink set into a thick granite countertop complicated the installation process, necessitating the need to cut the hard plastic insulation piece to fit. When battery operated, the solenoid allows the water to turn on and off; however, the ability to operate the faucet by touch remains inoperable. Furthermore, the battery connection itself remains intermittent, easily interrupted whenever wires attached to the solenoid pack are jostled. These both appear to be design issues that need to be addressed. Until they are, if your installation involves anything but the most common kind of sink (preferably not made of metal), I would avoid spending the extra for the "touch" feature. If you do decide to go ahead anyway, find a plumber who has installed one with this feature before to assure your best chance for success. The faucet itself looks great; however, we have invested hundreds of dollars for a non-functioning feature and an unnecessarily complicated installation process that seriously mitigates our appreciation of its attractive design.

It's a faucet, it does what it is supposed to do.
However for the money it is not worth it.
1. Does not swing far enough side to side.
2. Full of plastic.
3. The spigot does not stay in the housing very well.
4. The included water supply lines are not adequate, they are stiff plastic lines more suited to what you might find in a house with wheels not an expensive faucet.
5. Anything sets off the touch feature, dish towel touches etc..
I am very disappointed with the quality and craftsmanship of this faucet. Even more so that Delta deleted my first review of this faucet.

Worked fine at first, then thought the batteries needed replacing, it has been all downhill from there. Inconsistent functionality, the Touch2O rarely works properly, usually no water flow when turned on, have to pull the faucet head in and out to get the water to flow, sometimes cycles rapidly on and off, cannot leave in touch mode because will turn on and off on its own, very difficult to regulate the temperature, etc etc... Was installed by a plumber. Would never recommend the touch feature and have told others not to purchase. A faucet should not be so difficult to install/use this is why I feel the overall design is poor.

We bought and installed this about a year ago. For the first several months it worked perfectly...then the issues. Coming on by itself, not coming on when tapped, etc. Very disappointed with this product. We researched faucets forever and were convinced we made the right choice. After saving for twol years to re-do our kitchen and splurging for the touch control, I feel foolish and wish I stayed with a traditional faucet. As a military family, we've moved a lot and completed many renovations over the years and we've always used Delta products (faucets, etc) and this is the by far the worst experience we've had.
