Rated 3 out of 5 by Good Faucet, but early component failure Less than 2 years since purchase and installation, I have already had to replace 2 components: the spray head dripped while in stream mode & more recently the cartridge made a gritty noise when turning the water on and off and the faucet dripped when in the off position. On the positive side, the Magnatite docking is a great feature. Delta Customer Service has been stellar in responding to the problems and sent the replacement parts at no cost quickly. When it is working properly it's a great faucet. Early failure of the internal components is troubling, but not a "deal-breaker". Replacement was simple, quick and required no special tools. Rated 4 out of 5 by Good now , but will it be great later So delta sends this review after 2 weeks. Wish they would send after a year or 2. So far so good . Has a learning curve if you go from a low to high arc . Doesn't get spots to bad . Does splash in our deep sink but you learn to compensate . Swivels out of the way nicely. Head locks with magnets and feels solid. Was easy to install . The long lines have to be rolled up under the sink to keep them looking neat as they are integrated to the unit and your stuck having to deal with stiff poly(or whatever they are) lines . Overall impressions after 2 weeks are overall good . Time will tell if it's a good faucet . Had good reviews and I do like it … so far. December 24, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hoping I can get it fixed I have had this faucet for 5 months and have loved it. I purchased it after I helped my brother install one in his house. The only complaint I had about the faucet before tonight was that the faucet head never seated straight when retracted. It was only off slightly so I got used to it. But tonight when I pulled the head out to rinse some dishes the plastic piece that holds the magnet came out with it. I attempted to push it back into place but it will not stay there. I am really disappointed as I have not been hard on this faucet. I'm single and there are no kids in the house. I'm just hoping I can find my receipt so I can get it fixed under the warranty. Rated 4 out of 5 by Quality product that has performed as anticipated I installed this faucet myself about 1 year ago. I wanted a high arc faucet and this one fit the bill. That feature alone made using the sink so much easier and more efficient. I did not install the soap dispenser since our hard-surface countertop only had one hole in it. The stainless surface looks as good as the day I installed it and the magnetic pull-down spout is great. I have no complaints with this faucet. If there was one thing I might have done differently, that would have been to get a faucet with the Touch Technology. But that can be the next Delta faucet if this one ever fails to perform. Rated 5 out of 5 by Stylish and high quality faucet We chose the Ashton as a replacement faucet in our kitchen remodel. It was installed by our countertop fabricator in a quartz countertop. It looks very nice, works well and is a high quality unit. We have owned several Delta kitchen and bath products over the years and have always been satisfied with them. We never use the soap dispenser, so we did not have it installed. I wish that Delta included a separate "use & care/features" manual. To me, they seem buried in the installation instructions. (I was very confused at first on the operation and functions of the three buttons on the pull out spout.) February 16, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by drippig faucet When we remodeled our kitchen we thought the research done on the "Ashton" was the faucet we wanted. Mind you it is a beautiful faucet but it has its flaws. I don't think a day has gone buy since we installed it two weeks ago that it hasn't turned on by itself!!! I know one day it did three times. We just shut it off manually anymore when we leave the house or at night. Next thing is the constant dripping!!! Every time we use it we have to pull the hose out all the way just to get the excess water out so it won't drip...what a pain! All in all if it hadn't been so pricey I would replace it today! Rated 5 out of 5 by excellent product I am thrilled with this faucet. I like the spray settings and the buttons to switch from stream to spray. The sprayer extends smoothly and always returns and locks into position. The sprayer is so handy to rinse dishes and can easily be changed to a full stream in a second. I like the slim lines of the faucet. I did not install the base plate. It really has a modern look to it. The faucet swivels with ease and the brushed chrome is a classic look. The soap dispenser is nice, however, I like the foaming dispensers because they use less soap. It would be nice if the dispenser was that type. February 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wife loves the faucet...but my husband does not I absolutely love this faucet. Very easy to get used to and I love the style of it. However, my husband being a retired plumber hate installilng it. It was not a one man job. Because of the way the installation is designed more than one person has to be around when the actual person installing it ready to set it in place. Now, I the actual user...loves it. And I like the pull-down spout. I had him set the soap dispenser on the left side and I use it as a dish detergent dispenser. He will be installing our daughter's faucet to day and hopefully it will go a little better. I love it!!!!! July 20, 2014

Answer:
Hi Al,

Thank you for your question. The faucet is not designed to automatically retract the pull-down sprayer. However, the hose weight makes it a breeze to return the wand to the spout, and MagnaTite® docking will keep the wand precisely in place.

Jon

Can the handle position be adjusted so that it does not need to go further back than the center line of the faucet?

This is for a sink that has an overhanging counter 1 1/4 inches to the rear 6 inches above the sink surface. Some display models I have seen stop handle travel at the upright position, others require substantial travel to the rear for full flow. Is this something that can be changed during installation? Which pulldown models would be best in this situation

Answer:
Hi Bruce,

Thank you for your question. The handle will tilt away from the faucet for the water to turn on. You can rotate it forward for cold water or backward for hot. All models with a 45 degree angle valve will operate like this. There is a handle limit stop on the cartridge that prevents the handle from moving back, but this also limits the maximum temperature

However, our Pull-Down models with a 90 degree Euro-motion valve do not rotate backwards. Euro-motion models include the Essa 9113-DST, Trinisic 9159-DST, and Cassidy 9197-DST.

Hi Linda, Thank you for your question!
The 19922-SSSD-DST is designed to fit standard sinks. If the unit will fit your specific sink depends on the sink itself. Here is a link to the technical specification sheet for the faucet :

Answer:
Hi Faucet Fixer, Thank you for your question!
The 19922-SSSD-DST can be installed in a single hole application by not using the 3 hole escutcheon plate. You would mount the faucet directly in the sink/counter top.

There is a limit stop on the valve cartridge of your 19922-DST that controls the temperature. Below is a link to the installation guide. You will find the adjustment instructions on page 9.
