Ashton Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Soap Dispenser 4.3 5 45 45
Hoping I can get it fixed I have had this faucet for 5 months and have loved it. I purchased it after I helped my brother install one in his house. The only complaint I had about the faucet before tonight was that the faucet head never seated straight when retracted. It was only off slightly so I got used to it. But tonight when I pulled the head out to rinse some dishes the plastic piece that holds the magnet came out with it. I attempted to push it back into place but it will not stay there. I am really disappointed as I have not been hard on this faucet. I'm single and there are no kids in the house. I'm just hoping I can find my receipt so I can get it fixed under the warranty. Good now , but will it be great later So delta sends this review after 2 weeks. Wish they would send after a year or 2. So far so good . Has a learning curve if you go from a low to high arc . Doesn't get spots to bad . Does splash in our deep sink but you learn to compensate . Swivels out of the way nicely. Head locks with magnets and feels solid. Was easy to install . The long lines have to be rolled up under the sink to keep them looking neat as they are integrated to the unit and your stuck having to deal with stiff poly(or whatever they are) lines . Overall impressions after 2 weeks are overall good . Time will tell if it's a good faucet . Had good reviews and I do like it … so far. December 24, 2013
Quality product that has performed as anticipated I installed this faucet myself about 1 year ago. I wanted a high arc faucet and this one fit the bill. That feature alone made using the sink so much easier and more efficient. I did not install the soap dispenser since our hard-surface countertop only had one hole in it. The stainless surface looks as good as the day I installed it and the magnetic pull-down spout is great. I have no complaints with this faucet. If there was one thing I might have done differently, that would have been to get a faucet with the Touch Technology. But that can be the next Delta faucet if this one ever fails to perform. June 15, 2012
excellent product I am thrilled with this faucet. I like the spray settings and the buttons to switch from stream to spray. The sprayer extends smoothly and always returns and locks into position. The sprayer is so handy to rinse dishes and can easily be changed to a full stream in a second. I like the slim lines of the faucet. I did not install the base plate. It really has a modern look to it. The faucet swivels with ease and the brushed chrome is a classic look. The soap dispenser is nice, however, I like the foaming dispensers because they use less soap. It would be nice if the dispenser was that type. February 4, 2013
good value and artictic We have ben using this faucet in kitchen for almost 2 years. There has been no problem at all. The performance has been as expected although the handle design is a little awkward. The red blue dots are placed so that user cannot easily identify which direction to turn. Recommend changing it to more direct sight access. recommend this product from Lowes when it is on sale. The price is a little too high otherwise. July 8, 2012
Touch feature does not work We purchased this faucet about 6 months ago. It worked great for a couple weeks, then the touch feature started working very erratic. It would not come on or off when touched and sometimes would come on when not touched at all. Tried to take it back to Lowe's but they would not take it back after 30 days. We spent a heck of a lot of money for this faucet that does not work as advertised, and have resulted in using it in manual mode. Very very disappointed!!!!!! February 3, 2013
A Pleasure To Use This faucet is larger than it appears in the store so watch out for that when choosing for a smaller sink. High quality item that out performs any faucet I have ever owned. The pull out sprayer is so incredibly handy. The buttons on the sprayer to control the type of water flow...AWESOME. Spray to wash vegetables and at the push of a button..fill a pan with water. I love this thing. The finish on our model is stainless, and matches our stainless sink perfectly. Installation was a breeze and a great deal quicker than I expected. It is easily cleaned with a mere wipe-a wonderful thing about stainless. Delta provides a weight that goes on the oull out sprayer hose beneath the sink and it works wonders at preventing the hose from tangeling with the pipes and handles. This faucet seems industructible so durability won't be a problem in my opinion. Thumbs up on this model and well worth the price tag. June 12, 2012
Wife loves the faucet...but my husband does not I absolutely love this faucet. Very easy to get used to and I love the style of it. However, my husband being a retired plumber hate installilng it. It was not a one man job. Because of the way the installation is designed more than one person has to be around when the actual person installing it ready to set it in place. Now, I the actual user...loves it. And I like the pull-down spout. I had him set the soap dispenser on the left side and I use it as a dish detergent dispenser. He will be installing our daughter's faucet to day and hopefully it will go a little better. I love it!!!!! July 20, 2014

Takes long time to get hot water

I had the Ashton installed 3 years ago and love everything about it except that it takes a long time to get hot water. I just now read under the Arabella Q&A about a cartridge limit stop. Does the Ashton model also have this cartridge where the limit stop can be adjusted to allow more hot water to flow through it?

Answer:
Hi MNgal, Thank you for your question. The cartridge in your model 19922-SSSD-DST does come equipped with the (HLS) handle limit stop. The HLS limits the movement of the handle to the hot water side to prevent scalding by limiting the amount of hot water in the mix. I have attached the instructions on how to adjust the HLS below.
The HLS will affect how hot the water gets but doesn't affect how long it takes for the water to get hot. We recommend flushing the faucet lines and insuring that there is no debris or blockage in the hot water stop under the sink restricting the flow of hot water.
Thanks,
Dave

Low hot water flow

I just purchased and had installed this faucet and from the time I did the line purge - the water pressure has been low. This continues today regardless of the sprayer setting.

Answer:
Hi Doberman, Thank you for your question. The model 19922-SSSD-DST flows at a water efficient 1.5 gallons per minute and offers the multiflow feature that will increase the stream mode to 2.0 gpm. Potentially there could be some debris in the faucet causing the reduced flow. You can work backwards from the wand assembly to determine where a blockage might be located. Remove the wand to check the flow, next you can remove the pull out hose from beneath the sink and check the water flow. Make sure you put a bucket under the tube running down from the faucet to catch the water. You will also want to check the flow out of the water shutoff valves under the sink and finally check the valve assembly/cartridge itself to make sure it is clean and free from debris.
Thanks,
Dave

Clogged hot water line

Just purchased and installed the unit and since, we are not getting any hot water to flow through the spray head. Any advice on how to unclog the line after the faucet has been installed?

Also, is there a way to adjust the faucet from being all hot or all cold?

Thanks,
Ben

Answer:
Hi Ben, Thank you for your question. To flush the model 19922-SSSD-DST faucet you can remove the wand and run the faucet. You can also disconnect the hose assembly underneath the counter and use a bucket to catch the water from tube coming down from the faucet to flush before the wand assembly. You will also want to check that nothing is blocking the flow from the hot water supply stop.
The easiest way to adjust the temperature on an integrated handle model is to set the temperature at high flow and lower the water volume when you find the right temperature mix.

Dave

Faucet functions

I have spent hours shopping for Delta faucets online, but none of the websites will tell me how many functions the faucets have: 2 (spray, stream) or 3 (spray, stream, pause). Why doesn't Delta readily provide this information? How many functions does the Ashton faucet have?

Answer:
Hi Tbque, Thank you for your question. There is no way to adjust the weight that comes with your Ashton faucet. It glides on the hose and doesn't attach at any particular point on the hose. We do offer the RP11723 Delta Zinc weight which is the type that you screw on to a specific place on the hose and doesn't move or slide on its own. This might prevent the banging on the pipes underneath the sink.

Dave

Hi DC, Thank you for your question. Once you remove the clip you should be able to pull the connection apart. Move the spout all the way to one side or the other. This makes threading the hose through somewhat easier.

19922T-SSSD-DST - transformer?

I'm finishing up a kitchen remodel and have installed an Ashton 19922T-SSSD-DST touch faucet. Can I connect a Delta commercial transformer, eg. part # RP32856, so as not to have to contend with batteries?
