Trask Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Soap Dispenser 4.6 5 10 10
Great choice We chose this faucet as a replacement for another model that had been installed in the house. While looking in a home improvement store we ran into a Delta Rep who spent about 30 minutes with us. Comparing apples to apples the Delta and the "other" where neck and neck. The final choice we made was because of thee magnetic coupler to hold the sprayer. While this was not a big deal at first we have found it is a great plus over the other. Install was easy and all the parts are well made and well finished. The Delta lifetime guarantee like our other unit was also a decision maker for us. May 18, 2014
Beautiful Design and Craftsmanship We struggled looking at many brands/models until we saw the Trask on display at a local hardware store. It fits perfectly with our décor and the fit and finish work well with our countertops and white sink. Actually having a functional sink again in a massive kitchen remodeling project feels like we are on our way to normalcy again for the first time in a month! Simple installation, it couldn't have been easier. I don't know why there were warnings about cutting the supply lines and using the enclosed compression seals. I had no issues trimming the lines to fit. I like the subtle acid etched H and C on the lever vs. bright lettering or visible blue/red markings. The magnetic catch for the sprinkler head is a nice touch to keep things tight and not looking sloppy. Overall, would give this a 10 out of 10 rating. Very pleased with it! March 24, 2015
low hot water flow Purchased this trask 19933-sssd-dst 1 week ago and installed easily. Wife likes the way it looks but the hot water side has a very poor flow out of the spray and solid. Cold is good. I switched the hot and cold lines at the valve (below the sink) and now the same result. Just cold flow is very poor now. Plan to call delta tomorrow (monday) to see what they will say. I am resigned to the fact that i will need to take it out and replace it or return for a refund. Very dissappointing for us. I feel it is a poor design. Only One review stated a low flow concern but for the money it should be better-only hope is maybe i purchased a lemon. March 15, 2015
Exactly what I was looking for. Love the simple, easy to keep clean design. Perfect fit for deep sink. Only issue I see with the design is the way the water supply line connects to the faucet sprayer line. You have to make sure you hear a "click" when pushing the two lines together. Then you have to snap on a very fragile plastic connector that is supposed to hold the two water lines together. Our line connection came apart twice so we removed the heavy weight (supplied) on the water line and then had no problem, so far.....The plastic connector should be metal so it gives a better hold. Product performs as advertised and more ...... We replaced another brand kitchen faucet with the Delta Trask unit in stainless steel. What a difference. The quality was superior to our old faucet. The Delta also had a stainless steel construction rather than just chrome. In addition and perhpas the most important part, this Delta Trask faucet does everything listed in the specs to perfection: spray, stream, reach of spout, and quality. Quality is a standout: very, very high. We have no fear that this unit will leak like our old faucet did within eight months of installation. Even with water-saving features, this unit can blast debris off plates and pots with ease. Adjustment is simple. And the flow control unit is exactly as one should be: simple, logical, and of solid construction. Hurrah for Delta on this design. February 12, 2015
Very Good product with minor suggestion It's a very good product. However, I wish there would be 2 items taken care: 1. They should have put some red/blue indicator for hot/cold water side. 2. There should be some easy way to change the side of handle to go down. Right now handle can be on right side only. The quality of the product is very good. The button right on spray mouth and 2 type of water spray is very useful. Spray mouth goes go back easily in its location. It's new. Hopefully it will be same after few years. December 26, 2014
This kitchen faucet has great features. The magnetic pull-down works very well. It keeps the hose in place. Having the option of spray or full stream is great for rinsing. January 27, 2015
bought two of these and they work great. replaced moen which had corroded to the point it was hard to move. this design should prevent that I am very happy with this purchase and recommend it above all others. October 29, 2014

Clearance needed for lever

Just purchased this model and then realized that there is very little space to the rear of where the faucet will be. How much clearance is needed to be able to regulate the water? There is only a space of 2" behind the faucet.

Answer:
Hi PK, Thank you for your question. The motion of the handle on the model 19933-SSSD-DST is out to the right for water volume and pulling forward to adjust for temperature. The 2" clearance that you have will be enough for the handle operation.
Thanks,
Dave

Answer:
The lever doesn't move behind the faucet. It moves toward the right to turn on the water and then slightly up for cold and down for hot.
The clearance behind the faucet shouldn't be an issue.

My old faucet has a spout reach of 8 7/8 in with a 20 degree angle for the water flow.

Will a 9 1/2 inch spout reach on this faucet line up okay with my drain. Do you know the angle of the water coming out of the faucet?

Answer:
Hi Karen, Thank you for your question. The 9-1/2" measurement is from the center of the faucet(center of the mounting hole) to the center of the water stream. You will have to verify if this is sufficient for your needs. The angle of the spout is approximately 12 degrees.

Dave

Hi Rich, Thank you for your question. The Trask model 19939-SD-DST does not have a solid brass fabricated body like the Trinsic. Other metals are used on the Trask body.

What is the difference between the Trask and Trinsic faucets?

I am interested in purchasing either the Trask or the Trinsic faucet. Other than the cost and the soap dispenser, what is the difference? Why is the Trinsic more expensive?

Hi Megan,

Thank you for your question. The Trask pull-down faucet has a different design on the faucet handle than the Trinsic pull-down faucet. Trask is available in Chrome and Brilliance Stainless, while Trinsic is available in Chrome, Arctic Stainless, and Champagne Bronze. The Trask model comes with an escutcheon and soap dispenser.

Answer:
Hi Reverberocket, Thank you for your question. If you leave the switch in the spray setting and turn the faucet off, it will remain in the spray setting when you turn the faucet back on. The wand does not default back to a particular spray or stream setting.
